i've had the largest entertainment company in my country call my cell. i've had professors of ivy league-equivalent universities reach out to me. did i ever do anything to make that happen? no. i just watched netflix in bed, procrastinating all day, every day, until the big connections suddenly started appearing. do i have the slightest clue how they got my phone number? no, i've never shared it anywhere on the internet. should i be worried about that? maybe. but my point stands:
let go of the idea that you need to 'position yourself' to receive your desires. you don't need to do squat. reality will bend its own rules to meet your will.

Okay I’m the one who sent an anon earlier about being the 34 year old lady of Tumblr and about my spiritual journey & the void & yada yada.
Well…after sending that long ass Ask, I laid down & was just chill in silence because I like doing that from time to time. As I laid there I was like “ya know, I need a better anchor than trying to focus on my breathing because it just never works for me with my ADHD”. So I sat there trying to think of something that I could focus on that was super obvious & then I got the dumbest but most brilliant idea to stick a sticker on my forehead……..
Hear me out though bc WHY’D IT ACTUALLY WORK! 🤣 Seriously, you know how stickers feel on the skin, they kinda itch & they’re just a nuisance, so I couldn’t help but to focus on the damn thing & before ya know it, I felt like I was being sucked up into a vortex going super fast and then absolute s i l e n c e & it was just the most peaceful stillness. It’s really something the mind can’t quite put into words, you just have to experience it to truly understand.
So, I share this in case it helps anyone. Where I was going wrong was bc I have ADHD I couldn’t focus on one thing long enough & id end up getting distracted & you know the drill. I had to physically force myself to focus by putting something itchy on my forehead. Lol. And yeah, like everyone else has said, we wayyyyyy overcomplicate this. It’s surprisingly simple. Keep your mind focused just enough on something long enough for your brain to think the body went to sleep & that’s quite literally it. It took me like…maybe 15-20 mins to get there solely bc I couldn’t eliminate ALL of the monkey mind but yeah, just wanted to share that with you so you didn’t feel the need to respond to my long ass Ask. Lol

The problem is that people put so much pressure on “reaching” the void as if it’s this third space beyond reality, when it’s really not. It’s simply what’s left when everything else falls away. Affirming “I am the void” works for some, but you can just as easily decomplicate it for yourself and access it during those moments between waking and sleep. Because during sleep, awareness isn’t interacting with anything external. Every night, when you’re asleep, you’re essentially in the void already, because you’re awareness without an object.

how do you know “today’s not the day?” where’s the proof that it isn’t? you can’t even give me proof you won’t appear in your ir in two seconds because all the work you put in paid off and things changed to match what you’ve persisted in
what? because you didn’t four seconds ago? that was four seconds ago! every zeptosecond of our lives is a clean slate
not to compare it to smth out of our control, but seconds before someone wins the lottery, are they a millionaire? no. but literal seconds later? when they’ve got the ticket with the right numbers? yes! the fact that they weren’t seconds ago doesn’t matter!
they now are!!
bringing me back to my point. i’m not even suggesting you do a whole shabang. plenty of people do nothing and shift right? but have you been doing that?
do you want to do more? to take charge fully? possibly. it’s up to you. all i’m suggesting is that you at least do a little smth

I feel like my fyp is being filled with harmful Loa shifting takes and advice that’s just straight up wrong and contradicting. Nothing can stop you or hold you back from shifting/manifesting so i’m gonna do this as a reminder for myself and anyone else struggling that may see this
🌷You can be desperate and Still shift
🌷You can be in a negative headspace and still shift
🌷You can roll over mid method and still shift
🌷You can feel depressed and unmotivated and still shift
🌷You can have trouble fully believing in Shifting and still Shift
🌷You do not have to force yourself to ignore your current circumstances and emotions to Shift especially if you are dealing with disabilities, chronic illnesses, Abusive households etc
🌷Remind yourself that you can shift in any mindset because you can shifting is inevitable and nothing can hold you back from shifting
The most helpful Shifting advice you could ever give is to tell people to remind themselves that they can shift no matter what emotional state they are experiencing Whether that’s sadness, anger, desperation, demotivation, lack of confidence etc
I see a lot of Loa shifters on here spreading that certain negative emotional states can hold them back from shifting as well as trying to attach reasons as to why people haven’t shifted yet and it’s so contradictive harmful and limiting
The way I see it that’s just creating the assumption in people’s minds that if they are feeling desperate, unmotivated or any type of negative emotion then it’s gonna hold them back from shifting and they’re not gonna shift and that’s just gonna cause spiraling and cause people to surpress their negative emotions instead of acknowledging them and reminding themselves that it has no affect on their ability to shift
Law of Assumption can be a helpful tool to shift but i feel like a lot of law of assumption advice being given on here is just straight up contradictive harmful and actually over complicating things and it doesn’t keep people in mind who are dealing with sicknesses disabilities and depressing circumstances in this reality
The point of Law of assumption is that your assumptions create your reality so why would you want to instill the assumption in people or even yourself that natural human emotions/reactions can hold you back from shifting rather than the assumption that you can shift in any state and nothing can affect your ability to shift
But that’s just my opinion 🫡

How I entered the void in less than 5 minutes last night (If someone doesn’t shift with this, I’ll scream)
I wouldn’t be sharing this and putting myself at risk of sounding like a lunatic who posted one method, and is now posting yet another version of it, if I didn’t have a reason for it. Idk, gut feelings are hard to explain (I’m aware I sound insane right now)
But I’ve never been more excited to share something in my life, sooo that might attest to something.
This will work for everyone in some way. And I’ve never been more certain of anything ever. (Except for the time I pspspsps’d at a black kitty on the sidealk at night, which ended up being a trash bag, and I found out I had horrible eyesight—but that’s not the point here).
This isn’t anything brand new. It’s like my method people have been seeing results with, but stripped down to its bones. Simplified to the core, which I’ve learned actually makes it more effective.
(unless you’re someone who prefers something detailed and objective, then yeah, stick to my main method and ignore this)
This doesn’t care about your beliefs. Doesn’t care about your identity, your self-concept, your doubts, your contradictions. It doesn’t matter if you’re into non-duality, law of assumption, law of attraction, or don’t even have a belief system. This method does not give a single shit. And I say that with confidence, because when this worked for me last night, I was crying. Genuinely, majorly depressed. Everything I usually cling to, all my beliefs about shifting and consciousness and the nature of reality—I wasn’t mulling over any of it. I was flat out over existence itself, and it still worked.
The set-up:
• First, understand something: The screen of space you’re looking at right now—even if your eyes are closed—is the same screen where your DR, CR, the void, your dreams… all of it… will appear. That’s your canvas. Always.
• This works best with WBTB (wake back to bed), so set an alarm for about 3 hours after you fall asleep. You want to wake up just tired enough that going back to sleep is easy, but you’ll still have some control. (You can also do this as you’re going to bed, but it was 3 AM for me after I had woken up,,, so do with that info what you want).
• Now, get this into your head: You’re not entering the void or shifting from a place of calm or confidence. You’re doing it from pure exhaustion. You’re doing it from “fuck this shit, I’m doing it anyway.”
You can doubt. You can feel like shit. But the attitude that follows is “fuck it.” You’re tired of trying, and tired of being on this journey. So you’re just gonna do it. Fuck it.
What to do:
• Lie on your back. (I personally like my back, but I’ve done it on my side too, and it still works. Doesn’t matter. Don’t overthink it. This doesn’t matter)
• You can move. Just don’t care that you moved. After the next step, you won’t even be paying attention to your body anyway, and it’ll go numb naturally,, so the idea here is “fuck it, this doesn’t matter.”
• Now: Notice the black behind your eyes. Just that. The blackness. Don’t try to notice your awareness yet. Just focus on the black. Look at it. Really look at it. LOOK. Keep choosing to look at it again and again. Widen your eyes over and over again, and keep refocusing on it. This will keep you alert, but you’re not forcing yourself to stay alert, got it? It happens naturally, because you’re reeeeally looking at the black behind your eyes.
• Your body’s gonna want to fall asleep. Don’t fight it, don’t care about it, because the fact that you’re looking at the black behind your eyes will naturally keep you from falling asleep.
• You keep your mind locked on that black space, almost like you’re watching a movie screen, but nothing’s playing yet. What happens? You’ll keep wanting to fall asleep—but widening your eyes and choosing to watch the black will keep waking you up. You’ll be in this liminal place going: “Fuck it. Fuck it. Fuck it. I’m doing this. Fuck it. Don’t care.”
(What I mean by “widening your eyes” even though they’re closed is: when your eyes are closed, don’t let them go slack like they do when you're falling asleep. Keep them wide and alert, like you're trying to watch something in the dark. You're not tensing them, just holding that sense of openness, like you're staring through your eyelids).
• What happens next: Suddenly you’ll feel your awareness. You’re just awareness now. Naturally. You didn’t right off the bat try to pay attention to your awareness,, you just realized that you are it. Why? Because when you feel confined to that black space behind your eyelids like a coffin, with nothing else around you, there’s nowhere else to run to other than your awareness. Your body will be numb, and your surroundings distant, irrelevant. And you’ll think: “Wait… I’m just my awareness.”
• And then your brain might do what it always does: “Oh no. What if I’m overthinking? What if I’m messing it up?” And you remind yourself: “I’m literally awareness. I can overthink if I want. I’m awareness goddamnit. Fuck it.”
• You’ll start switching—back and forth—between two things (because there’s nowhere to run to):
1. Looking at the black behind your eyelids
2. Noticing your awareness itself
Keep flipping between the two like you’re flickering the lights on and off in a room, but don’t force this. You’ll look at the fact that you simply are, and you'll look at the black,, and you’ll think: “damn?? I’m just my awareness.”
• Then you’ll start to sink. You’ll feel the pull as hypnagogia grabs your hand and says “so where are we going, bestie?” From here, you can either:
A) Keep going as you feel yourself sink, and you’ll fall straight into the void state effortlessly.
B) As you feel yourself sink, you can choose to lucid dream, astral project, or just plain shift from here. To shift: affirm, assume, observe, do whatever you want. The way I shared that I like to do this is by observing my awareness in my DR, observing the fact that I’m aware there (just pretend you’re there, no need to try too hard).
The point is: whatever happens next, if it happens very very quickly, don’t panic.
Just to note:
If this somehow doesn’t work for you—though I genuinely believe it will work for someone—just know the reason I share so many things is because I deeply believe everyone needs different things. The core of shifting stays the same to me:
You are only awareness, and you observe your desired reality until all other options collapse.
But how you get into that is wildly personal. What works for me might not click for you, just like what works for you might not click for me, and that’s fine.
That’s why I keep offering options—not to confuse you, not to invalidate anything I’ve said before, but to give you more pathways of realizing how powerful you already are. If one method feels off, try another. My main method is still my go-to: observe my awareness in my DR, exist there, decide I’m there because where else would I be??—but I love giving variety because maybe this next one might be the one that opens it all up for you.
Edit: (this just came to mind) don’t place a time expectation on any method. This one worked in less than 5 minutes for me, but the next time I try it, it could happen in 10, maybe 20. I don’t know. So if you try this, and it doesn’t immediately work in the way you expect it to, take a deep breath and keep trying, because eventually something has to happen. Trust me.

I went to the void state on my first attempt !!
im a new shifter and I wanted to try @cloverapple ‘s void method and I was so surprised because it’s surprisingly the easiest and most chillest way to just.. go to the void state. and probably shift.
first I zoned out, thought to just give up because I wanted to sleep so I fell asleep but then woke up at 3AM wanting to do it again. I was on my phone for like 45 minutes then felt pretty motivated to try going to the void but when I realized it was like 3:45, I told myself off again by thinking that since it was already gonna be morning, my body might not want or be able to fall asleep. a few seconds later I fell the fuck asleep.
I woke up again and it was like 7AM and this time I was not wasting any more time because I remembered that school starts in like 2 and a half weeks. (June 8 what a fucking nightmare) If I’m not able to look into the black of my eyes while just laying in bed, then that is beyond lazy 😭 so I did it. I set the intention that I was going to the void state and my body felt limp and incredibly numb almost instantly? like in a few mins and I did nothing but stare into the black of my eyes.
then I just waited for it. I started getting weird symptoms like my body felt heavy, then tingly, then I started sinking in my bed and I forgot that I wanted to shift and just chilled in the void because I’ve never actually been in such a state before. somehow it’s even more relaxing than napping. here’s where it gets weird.. I thought that it’s only been a few minutes. genuinely, I thought I’ve been in the void state for 10 minutes max. but then when I got up and checked what time it was.. It was already 8AM !?
what I think is.. damn. seriously? the void state was much easier to go to than I thought it was that I should’ve had just done it earlier. but yeah, I was really pleased for my first attempt and I already wanna do it again in the afternoon.. see if I could do it more confidently this time. happy shifting !!! <3

Keep them wide and alert, like you're trying to watch something in the dark. You're not tensing them, just holding that sense of openness, like you're staring through your eyelids).
• What happens next: Suddenly you’ll feel your awareness. You’re just awareness now. Naturally. You didn’t right off the bat try to pay attention to your awareness,, you just realized that you are it. Why? Because when you feel confined to that black space behind your eyelids like a coffin, with nothing else around you, there’s nowhere else to run to other than your awareness. Your body will be numb, and your surroundings distant, irrelevant. And you’ll think: “Wait… I’m just my awareness.”
• And then your brain might do what it always does: “Oh no. What if I’m overthinking? What if I’m messing it up?” And you remind yourself: “I’m literally awareness. I can overthink if I want. I’m awareness goddamnit. Fuck it.”
• You’ll start switching—back and forth—between two things (because there’s nowhere to run to):
1. Looking at the black behind your eyelids
2. Noticing your awareness itself
Keep flipping between the two like you’re flickering the lights on and off in a room, but don’t force this. You’ll look at the fact that you simply are, and you'll look at the black,, and you’ll think: “damn?? I’m just my awareness.”
• Then you’ll start to sink. You’ll feel the pull as hypnagogia grabs your hand and says “so where are we going, bestie?” From here, you can either:
A) Keep going as you feel yourself sink, and you’ll fall straight into the void state effortlessly.
B) As you feel yourself sink, you can choose to lucid dream, astral project, or just plain shift from here. To shift: affirm, assume, observe, do whatever you want. The way I shared that I like to do this is by observing my awareness in my DR, observing the fact that I’m aware there (just pretend you’re there, no need to try too hard).
The point is: whatever happens next, if it happens very very quickly, don’t panic.
Just to note:
If this somehow doesn’t work for you—though I genuinely believe it will work for someone—just know the reason I share so many things is because I deeply believe everyone needs different things. The core of shifting stays the same to me:
You are only awareness, and you observe your desired reality until all other options collapse.
But how you get into that is wildly personal. What works for me might not click for you, just like what works for you might not click for me, and that’s fine.
That’s why I keep offering options—not to confuse you, not to invalidate anything I’ve said before, but to give you more pathways of realizing how powerful you already are. If one method feels off, try another. My main method is still my go-to: observe my awareness in my DR, exist there, decide I’m there because where else would I be??—but I love giving variety because maybe this next one might be the one that opens it all up for you.
Edit: (this just came to mind) don’t place a time expectation on any method. This one worked in less than 5 minutes for me, but the next time I try it, it could happen in 10, maybe 20. I don’t know. So if you try this, and it doesn’t immediately work in the way you expect it to, take a deep breath and keep trying, because eventually something has to happen. Trust me.
i have a question that i noticed i always ask my self anytime i get back into shifting.
How can I balance my DR and CR life simultaneously?
To preface, if I want to shift, I go all in. For months, I just focus on shifting. I even had a whole month filled out with notes and attempts.
Looking back at it, I'm shocked I had that consistency (Imao). But I only do it because I want to. It's because I get excited and want to shift. I will say, I do finish what I gotta finish in my CR, so it's not like I just ignore everything happening in my CR. But I find it kind of difficult to shift, or even think about shifting, because I have manifestations and tasks to do in my CR which id say require me to think in the state of already having it. and my desires in this reality are completely different from those in my dr, so I find it hard to affirm through out the day "i am in my dr." cause im supposed to be in my CR with my desire.
it honestly becomes upsetting and stressful for me anytime i think of my DR. as much as I would love to be in my DR right now, I still have a lot of things that I want to do in my CR (with manifestations). So it feels like I can't balance my CR and DR.
Hello hello!!!! I'm also kind of struggling with this same thing lmao when I focus on my Perma Dr i feel like I'm abandoning or neglecting this reality but when I focus on this reality, my Dr starts to feel distant.
Actually we're in the same place so I'll tell you what I do;
- don't think about shifting during the day. Literally. Focus on your Cr, but DON'T make it unpleasant for yourself. Be careless, don't take everything so seriously. Say "I'm already immortal and it's not my first time being alive" and turn this into a core belief. Repetition is the key. Look for whimsical little signs and learn how to shrug off things. When you KNOW you have a Dr, hence other realities, this reality stop being so serious. That's what I do and if you truly struggle with letting go, I recommend meditation. I KNOW it sounds so generic but it genuinely really helps. You clear your mind and remind yourself that you're pure awareness.
- second, your Dr. Select a time to think about it, I prefer right after bed time. So you won't burn out, get desperate or overthink. You'll actually anticipate the DR TIME. finally. Coming to bed, being silent and peaceful. You're free to daydream, arrange scripts and give yourself a break... turn this little time into your secret, very personal shifting time. If it's rare, it is impossible to get boring or feel like a chore. Every night after bed, once the house is asleep, you get to travel to other realities. How cool is that?
I also have big dreams for my Cr so i feel you!!! Dont forget even if you shift, your past crself will keep living this life. When you get tired of this cr, just say "this life belongs to my past self and I should leave it as good as possible for her/him." When you think like that, pressure kind of disappears.
Of course it may take time to actually practice this but trust me, it really does work. Muchhhhh love keep me updated \(^o^)/
“ everything you need to know about void state “
— Void state is a deep state where your brain is technically awake but muted its connection to your body. You can manifest anything there because the subconscious mind cannot distinguish between a "real" external event and a vividly imagined internal one. Any thought you plant there is accepted as absolute truth without an argument from your logic.
how to get into void state?
— You need to lay down in a comfortable position, make sure you are VERY comfortable because it’s better if you don’t move during the process. You can open a subliminal, a guide meditation or theta waves to make it easier!
When you lay down, you’re going to close your eyes and focus on the voice you’re listening to or focus on your breathing. Calm yourself down. You can close your eyes with an eye mask to avoid accidentally opening your eyes, it happens more than you think.
You can also stare into back of your eyelids, into that darkness. Your brain will eventually send a signal like itch or a strong urge to move to check if you’re still awake— ignore it.
Then you can start counting to 100, you can repeat affirmations as you do.
You can start feeling like you’re floating or spinning, those are completely normal. Don’t panic.
You may also see flashes of light, geometric patterns. Also normal, don’t panic.
If you feel like, “ OMG!! it’s happening. “ it’s gone because your heart rate will spike, releasing adrenaline which will instantly kick you back.
affirmations :
• i am in void state.
• I am pure awareness, detached from my body.
• I am entering the void now.
• My body is asleep, my mind is awake.
how it feels to be in void state?
— it’s just dark, no sounds. nothing. Don’t be scared or panicked though, you can always leave by just simply moving your finger or opening your eyes.
since you’re in void state, you can manifest anything you like.
The idea that romanticizing your DR stops you from shifting makes no sense, like are you even hearing what you are saying lmao
