I mean I see where that would come from it makes sense to the point where I have 100% accepted that as canon (and I think literally anybody else too) I just wonder if there is concrete evidence that’s he has scars (I haven’t read all of the manga yet) or has it been confirmed?

Skk headcanon

So I have a head canon that dazai always gets antsy and anxious when his birthday is nearing. chuuya takes it upon himself to make Dazai feel a little better so like the week before he starts sending Dazai gifts every day til his birthday. First they are small and keep getting bigger/more expensive and personal.

So the first day he’ll send him a bunch of red camellias and a note that he doesn’t sign but Dazai knows anyway when the flowers get delivered randomly at the ADA & the next day it’s the same but this time an expensive bottle of whiskey that Dazai likes but can’t afford these days and so on and so forth. And everything is super extra and fancy because duh chuuya

And Dazai genuinely smiles every day at least once 🥹

And everyone at the agency thinks he has a secret lover or suger daddy and they make bets about it (ofc rampo knows)
