We took in our 3 nieces when my brother was imprisoned. These girls had it rough with no stable home before we took them in, and they had been in foster care at one point. But now they've been doing so good! They especially love their Uncle Adam (Unca Admin, as they call him) and now he's very sick. Two weeks ago, he was admitted to the hospital with kidney failure. He has had surgery on one kidney to grind up a stone that was the size of a marble, but the stone in his other kidney is the size of his actual kidney. He has been told that he's only working on 4% of his kidneys right now. We also have our daughter, whom has been disheartened from not seeing her Daddy since the hospitals will no longer allow childten visitors because of the coronavirus. It's been a struggle but we've been surviving. No income is coming into the home because I am disabled and can't work or drive. I've been having to rely on public transportation for emergencies, but with that and the cost of medical expenses, you can imagine how the bills are racking up. We don't know how long he will be in the hospital or when he will be coming home, but they scheduled his next surgery in 6 weeks, postponing it due to the coronavirus. He is now on dialysis as well, and it will take at least a month before any benefits kick in, if not longer, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
