Theo&Alison | But a Memory
Alison observes Dean’s bed, a smile appearing on her lips. Upon the mention of others who had lived in the cabin, she looks at the other beds, all seeming to be unslept in. She turns around to look at Theo, a questioning look on her face. “What do you mean others? Why’d they leave?” She crosses over to sit down on her bed. Strangely, it felt like hers, even though she couldn’t remember it. Her area of the cabin just seemed like her, like Alison. She loved it.
Shaking her head, she grins at him. “I wouldn’t play a prank like this.” Suddenly, a thought dawns on her and she frowns slightly. “Wait, would I?” Certainly it had been a long time since the day she remembers last—the length of her hair and the changes in her body proved that much.
Theo shakes his head without hesitation. "No, something like this would be very unusual." Besides the fact that they were also in an awkward position at the moment. A fact he chose to leave out conveniently. Alerting her of their current status of relationship would make helping rather awkward and difficult. The logical thing was to keep her ignorant.
"People leave for one reason or another. Some go home to their families. Other strike off on their own." And there was the other option-- joining the group of gods who had defected from Olympus. Another detail he should not reveal to her any time soon. Or perhaps he could avoid telling her all together. That wouldn't last long. Someone would tell her eventually and ruin his plan to keep her blissfully unaware.
"Memory loss is... well, not the oddest thing that has ever happened here. Although it's not a common ailment. I wonder what triggered it."
