i have. So Many thoughts on citizen sleeper 2, it's perspective on bodily autonomy and dehumanisation, of the conversation of flesh and machine, the slow (and oft, rapid) decay of both, of mirroring and understanding that flint and 2leeper share that's so layered in this shared experience and loss and... recognition through the other, and sometimes, the lack thereof. the entire conversation with flint in olivera after rescuing him and karman, everytime 2leeper reflected on what they think of flint, when they interacted with flint.. anybody who is close to you will be hurt because of you, we are a ticking time bomb. remember that. and how flint unnerved them, the shared pain of this sub-human designation frustration with your own body, of being dependent on the substance, the knowledge of their planned obsolescence built as a scale model for control, the fear of being hunted and talking about that shared struggle, someday in some faraway cycle this could be a friend. it isn't that cycle yet but the thought of it in some distant future is warm and reassuring.. 2leeper's relationship with serafin and just the ache of loving someone deeply but not being able to recognise them or being able to remember how important they might've once been to you, and them not knowing who you are anymore either, but building something new on the remains of what once was... the fact that 2leeper became someone different because the reboot was interrupted. because a massive chunk of their memory didn't exist and memory shapes experiences... of the memories of the cat the human they were emulated from had pet long ago which has seeped through to still and reached out through time, creating that double exposure of love and adoration, timelessness. how 2leeper, dying and decaying rapidly made their leap into the frightful unknown of the reboot holding flint's hand. all at once, something ends and something new begins.... i have so many thoughts but I am. so so sleepy. i will perhaps make a proper post later but everything abt this game... christ. tore my heart out and had me weeping on several occasions and I wouldn't have it any different way
