Anyway, I stopped watching GTLive right before Sam stopped being the tech (I had to find out he was quitting from Reddit, how fun) and never really came back because it was too much change imo not long after Mat left, and I didn’t really like fish at the time… I’ve watched a couple streams on archive since but generally don’t really watch it anymore but really want to get back into it, but I know very well about the channel’s dedication to referencing old vids/jokes and I feel like if I start watching now I’ll get loadsss of FOMO from it and I’ll just get sad.
Sorry wow yap, basically I’m asking are there any big recurring jokes/bits that I would have missed since Sam left??? I know about the ominous little flower guy that that I genuinely, like, it😭

I'll be the first to admit I don't post as much these days and I've also fallen very behind on GTLive. Mostly because I work fulltime now and watching 2-3 hour VODs is super daunting. I'm also not really vibing with Ash's game choices lately, but that's on me.
Having said that, there are a few dedicated GTLivers that help update the Theorists Wiki with some of the running jokes on GTLive: https://matpat.fandom.com/wiki/GTLive/Running_Jokes I know they don't have everything but its a good starting place!
I often have to ask folks about what's going on (Poor Nellie has explained Hugh Morris to me like 3 times and I still forget about it), so you won't stand out or anything if you ask someone. There's also a new official discord for the channels which is super active. I just lurk, the only server I'm active in is our Theorists Wiki server.
The hardest part to catch up on is any Fish lore. Fish (it/its) keeps a very low (honestly nonexistent) online profile (we don't add It to our Wiki as per request). Because we collectively agree to keep Its info offline, your best bet is to DM questions or ask on discord.
But yeah, we'd love to have you back if you're up for it! I understand if its too much too. The fandom is pretty fragmented these days and sometimes a bit hostile (it's been two years, you'd think people would move on from He Who Must Not Be Named).
