some romantic, some not. mostly just random

he really likes being warm. he’s a CAT always sitting on sunlight spots

won’t let many people call him dallas. if he does, you’d better believe you’re special as hell.

is actually quite chill about his friends’ quirks and the weird shit they do. he’s never cared about being popular or how people might see him

so while he Can and Will tease them about pretty much whatever, he never really means it.

modern au dally only listens to underground rap you can’t change my mind

though what’s life without a few guilty pleasures? johnny caught him blasting his ass to ABBA once

he didn’t tell anyone because he really does look up to him That much but he chuckled softly at every sight of dally for like two weeks

would be difficult to really get through to him in a relationship. it would be all fine and dandy at the beginning but the second he realizes he’s catching feelings all hell breaks loose.

he’d try every trick in the book to make his partner hate him so he could prove to himself how you never ever should get close to people, and if they’re still there after all those stupid things he did? man, he wouldn’t know what the hell to do!

and when they finally manage to get him to believe they’re worth trusting, he’ll be ride or die as fuck. he’ll never let go. unless you ask.

he’s angriest when he feels threatened or like he’s gonna be replaced. he gets really snarky and bitter and plain mean if he feels like his friends or his partner would do just as well without him

has a tendency to take off in conflict situations

never treats a cut or a bruise in any way so they heal super slowly and make him look cool & tough for longer

ponyboy once saw him pressing on an old bruise with a blank expression on his face

he thought it was kind of weird and got a funny feeling in his stomach so he told soda and darry about it

darry got worried but knew dally wouldn’t feel comfortable talking about whatever issue he might have, so he acted extra protective for a while and reminded him he always had a place to go at the curtis house

dally thought it was sort of weird but he didn’t say anything because all he ever wanted was someone taking care of him and this was the closest thing to that in a good while

headcanon that dallas still has a slight new york accent!! and sodapop likes to make fun of him by saying this like “come on dal just forgetaboutit” and “ooh ya wanna pastrami sandwhich from the city” “when ya going back to the upper east side”!!!

Angsty Johnny/Jally thing

This is like Johnny angst but I also am thinking about making a Jally oneshot with this basic thing.

It’s like just some random idea I had so y e e e sorry if it’s written weird

Imagine this

It’s been a couple years since Johnny’s parents started becoming abusive.

He still has hope that eventually things will go back to normal.

One day when his parents are yelling at each other at yelling at him he kinda snaps and asks why they don’t care about him or why they can’t fix everything and make things go back to normal.

They tell him awful things like they didn’t want him, they don’t love him or need him and more. 

Of course, johnny is pretty distraught. He runs out to the lot and just kinda sits out there for a bit. He has gone like completely numb and he stays that way for almost an hour and a half. He stuffs his hands in his pocket but finds a couple small pictures.

Johnny would carry around small pictures of him and his family from when he was younger as some sort of reminder of what he once had and he hoped they would have that again.

He suddenly gets angry looking at them and destroys them. He rips them to pieces while yelling and sobbing and growling. He’s so hurt and angry. He’s only like 13-14 and he already has lost all hope in his family ever being the same. 

Dally happens to come across Johnny while on his way to the curtis house and just sees this small puppy lookin kid just completely destroying these pictures and tugging at his hair as he screams and shouts.

Of course, Dally is instantly concerned about his poor friend and goes to help him but in his fit of rage, Johnny starts punching Dally’s chest and is screaming at him to go away and to leave him alone.

Dally obviously isn’t hurt physically (Johnny has pretty weak punches. He can try to hit Dally as hard as possible but like his brain is practically programmed to never hurt the gang. He can throw a good punch in a rumble but not at the gang or really anybody but socs) But Dally can feel his heart shatter at the sight of poor johnny a screaming and crying mess in his arms. Eventually, Johnny starts to feel weak from screaming and crying so much that he just stops hitting him and stops yelling but he still can’t help but cry and beg for Dallas to leave him alone. But, just like earlier, he doesn’t leave. He stays with Johnny at the lot for hours to make sure he’s okay before they both go to the Curtis’ house for a place to stay the night

it’s like 1 am and i’ve been up since 9 and I also have school in the morning but I didn’t wanna forget this so y e e forgive me if anything is written weird or if some words sound repeated. I’ll probably write this as a proper oneshot on wattpas or some shit eventually so yeah

Greaser Headcannons

First post: Headcannons, fuck yeah.

Dally, Johnny and Darry are fricken f a n t a s t i c dancers. 

Darry, of course, learned from his parents before they died.

Johnny also learned from his parents before they were constantly fighting and beating him. 

And Dally learned from some people he met on his way from NYC to Tulsa. 

Sometimes, when the gang is like having a fun party day or something, they’ll put on Elvis and will dance for hours.

Out of the curtis brothers, this is how they are in the dancing department:

Amazing: Darry

OK:Soda

pretty fuckin bad: Ponyboy

Darry taught Soda how to dance and he’s alright. They both tried to teach Pony but he is like unteachable lol

Darry often has nightmares

They’re not like the ones that Ponyboy has but they’re enough to make him wake up at 3 am, a shaking sweaty mess.

It’s either memories of when he heard Mr and Mrs Curtis died or it’s terrifying images of his family dying.

Dally getting severely injured during rodeos or in a gang fight, Sodapop and Steve in a car accident, Johnny getting jumped again or his parents finally going way too far, Two-bit getting himself into police or socs trouble, and Ponyboy just disappearing. 

Sodapop found him after one of his nightmares once and was able to comfort him but Darry made him swear he would never tell anyone.

Nobody except for him and Soda know about his nightmares

#3 Two-bit and Soda can probably play some kind of instrument or at least would be good at it if given the chance to learn

#4 Sexuality headcannons (These are just in my head so if you disagree that’s dank plz don’t yell at me)

Ponyboy: Massive pansexual/bisexual 50/50

Johnny:Gay

Dally: Bisexual 49/51 (probably leans just a l i t t l e bit more towards girls)

Sodapop: Also bisexual (I know, almost all of them are bi or pan i’m soRRY)

He leans more towards girls but there’s a minor chance he’d date dude if he is special enough (Coughstevecough)

Steve: Gay (I know he was dating Evie but i’m still saying this i’m sorry. I headcannon he dated her because he liked her but only as a friend but he thought it was more because he didn’t wanna admit he was gay)

Two-bit: Bisexual pretty 50/50

Darry: Surprisingly bisexual but definitely leans way more towards women. He’s just not used to imagining being in a relationship with men

Cherry:Straight

Marcia:Bisexual

Bob:Straight (ish lmao im kidding)

Randy: Bi but he doesn’t know it

Ponyboy: Probably pastel yellow

Johnny: Blue or Purple

Dally: Probably a dark Navy blue

Sodapop:Red or Orange

Darry:Maroon probably

Steve:A minty color. More blue than green

Two-bit: Orange or Maybe a bright pinkish red
