Isobel: nodded her head, "if you want to try, i cant stop you. it's your child too, theo. thank you." she said, leaning over and kissing his cheek.
Theo: "well i do and im all in. i want to give this kid the best fucking life possible." he said with a nod of his head, reaching down to hold her hand.

“halloween really is the best. i like christmas too, but halloween has candy, costumes and parties… what else do we need from a holiday?”
“everybody loves a day when they can dress up and pretend to be somebody else. you get presents at christmas sometimes, but halloween is still better.”
Isobel: She nodded her head, a frown in place. She didn't know what to say about that. She ran a hand through her hair, and smiled, shaking her head. "our child will not hate you. i promise you. you are not capable of hurting a child, let alone your own child. you don't see it, but you have a soft side. a side that cares about and loves others and i know you well enough to know that despite what happened to you, you would never hurt your own child. you will show it all the love your father didn't give you."
Theo: sighed, nodding his head as she spoke. he knew she was right, and it was reassuring that she was so confident in him. like always she knew the right things to say to make him less stressed. "i want to try. i want to try and be a good dad and a better person than my dad ever was. so are you saying that you will let me? because ultimately its your decision i think."
“i think the most nerve wrecking thing here lately has been walking by a storm drain. i will speed walk like it isn’t anybody’s business pass one of those things. pennywise is going to have to come out of there if he wants me.”
“i don’t really see anyone in real life coming out of the storm drains. at least not around here cause we get too much rain. i’d be more freaked out walking in the woods or something. i know there were stories on the knews about clowns scaring people in parks and shit in other places.”
“but has ANYONE ever really benefited from doing a required reading? besides passing a class, of course. i just don’t see the point in it when i’m gonna forget about it the day after i finish it.”
“fuck no. at least i haven’t. i just get the cliff notes for most assigned reading and read that cause its got all the important stuff. its amazing for shakespear.”
“I tripped over a stationary bike wheel at the gym and now I have a huge bruise on my shin. I swear I have the worst luck in the world.”
“how do you trip over a stationary bike? thats like hitting a parked car.”
“this cold weather is really starting to get depressing, but i’m just excited to break out the halloween decorations.”
“halloween is honestly the best holiday. i still have no idea how im going to dress up this year.”
Isobel: "You won't turn out like him. You are so much better than he was, Theo. You will learn, and when the next girl comes along, it'll be different but you'll know how." She bit her lower lip before a small smile graced her features. "I have so much faith in you, Theo. You'll just have to learn and everything will be okay."
Theo: he didn't say anything when she said the next girl. He didn't have any plans on having a next girl. It was either isobel, or being a lifelong batchelor "there's no other girl isobel." He finally said shaking his head. "I just-- i do not want to be the dad that their kid hates."
Isobel: She wasnt sure what to say. She remained silent for a moment and looked down, playing with her fingers. "I..." She wrapped her arms around him tightly and kissed his cheek. She let out a deep breath. "I'm so sorry that happened to you," She spoke softly. "You don't...you don't honestly think that I wouldnt let you be in this child's life because of that, do you?" she asked softly. She sighed, taking his hands in hers, "You would never do anything to hurt it, okay? Contrary to what you think, you are so much better than that, Theo."
Theo: he leaned his head against her not wanting to make eye contact. "What if I turn out like him though? Babies need a lot of love, and I don't know how to love. God knows I've screwed up more than a thousand times with you. I don't want to fuck up its life." He sighed, finally looking at her. "I care about it so much , but I don't know how to be a dad. How can you be so sure that I can do this?"
Isobel: The brunette nodded her head. She was getting used to the idea of him not wanting to be around so she wasnt expecting to hear that. "Okay.." she said softly. She bit her lower lip, pushing her hair behind her ear. She moved on her bed and turned so that she was facing him. "I'm sure I will, Theo. Whatever it is, I'm sure it wont change anything.."
Theo: "im not so sure." He shrugged, taking a deep breath. "Okay, where to start..." he began, pouting his lips out for a moment thinking "my biological parents were severe alcoholics. I don't have a single memory of them when they weren't drunk to be honest. that's where the problems began. They didn't spend too much quality time with their son, but I learned how to keep myself entertained. Anyway, my mom died of kidney failure when I was 9, and that was the start of the worst part of my life..." He paused for a moment, preparing himself to talk about the next part. "That was when my dad started to take his anger on the world, out on me. I wasn't the best kid but I tried really hard not to make him angry and stuff. I got really good at hiding it, but then one day when I was 12, he ended up knocking me unconscious, and it couldn't be hidden anymore. I guess the doctors could somehow tell what had been happening cause that's when j went into foster care and then when my dad went to prison, I got adopted by the millers."
isobel: hearing theo's voice, the girl sat up, a small smile gracing her features. "hey." she could sense something was wrong so she quickly climbed off her bed and went over to him. "are you okay?" she asked softly. she bit her lower lip and wrapped her arms around him tightly before pulling away and taking him by the hand and leading him to her bed to sit down. "what's up?"
Theo: "yeah I'm okay." He said with a nod of his head, following her and taking a seat on her bed running a hand through his hair. "I want to be a part of this kids life." He said gesturing wiTh his head towards her stomach "but first I need to tell you some things about me and I'm not sure if you're gonna want me to be a part of it when you hear."
Theo: the brunette parked his car outside of isobels house, preparing himself to go inside. he took a puff off his wax pen, not probably the best idea, but he needed it to help with all the building anxiety at that moment for what he was planning on telling isobel. things he hadn't to /anyone/ before. he stuck the pen into the glove box of his car, and got out, walking up to the front door and letting himself inside, hoping he wouldn't run into any family members as he did so, but luckily he made it to izzy's room without any interference. he opened the door, trying to put a grin on his face as he entered. "hey."
