243. In the first year if Hogwarts starting, there was only 3 Hufflepuff students in the entire school. In the other houses there were at least 30 students
Those students were bullied and taunted for being the freaks put in the odd house and were labels as the overly kind because of the way they dealt with it. What the rest of the students didn’t know was that the 3 Hufflepuffs had been working hard on making their common room the most magical place in the school with the help of Helga
They learned enchantments and charms and spells well above their age group. They were the ones who came up with the entrance when Helga couldn’t. They were the ones who enchanted a trunk to place in the common room to hold the house pets. They learned about the care of plants in their common room
Then when final exams came along that year, they all got the highest scores in the school, while the rest of the houses were confused at how the ‘freak’ house had beaten them all.The next year, more Hufflepuffs joined them and ever since each and every Hufflepuff who has passed through the gates of Hogwarts had left a tiny piece of their magic in the dorms, becoming a tradition to keep on improving
