I am in Southern California again this weekend and it just doesn’t feel real. We would always meet when I came to visit. He would make the drive anytime of the day, no matter where, and even when it took hours. I just can’t believe this picture Elyssa took of us would mark the last time we saw each other. I miss my friend and I’m so sad for his sons, his grandchildren, and his wife-to-be and business partner. His fave lit up every time he talked about her and the life and business they were building together. The ice is finally melting and the sun finally came out. It’s been a week of snow fun for the littles and beautiful bird sightings and icicles in the yard, but also of scary icy roads, lack of groceries due to delayed orders, and unstable electricity and WiFi. I am grateful for our friend who took Elyssa to the store so I didn’t have to drive or starve lol 😂, and also was my volunteer for a school project, as well as for our @ardentpestofficial helper who came to make sure we are bug free (see my stories). And to add to the opposition of things, I finally finished a project that is sooo dear to my heart that I’ll tell you about soon - and I found out I’m going to need a new dishwasher. 😫 More life updates coming up soon but I have a paper due tonight so I better get back to business. 📘What’s good and new in your world?
