The one
Marrying my husband was not the end of my personal freedom, rather the beginning of it. Living in a world where I was alone the majority of the time with the obligation to go out on weekends as a young single woman wasn't as fun as it seems. Taking pictures just to prove to the fb world I wasn't a cave man and how "fun my life was". I was the "forever single friend" and committing to anyone was a joke. When I met my husband I absolutely knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was the one. I was so confused and scared. Not because of the commitment or the so called "end of my single life" but the thought of loving someone so much was completely foreign to me. Loving them so much I'd change my life for them. Our marriage became the place where I'd finally get to know myself, who I wanted to be, and why. It produced our baby boy, the other love of my life. In fact, if I could go back and take away all of those single years I would. But I know that time led me to him and everything had to happen the way it did for it to be so.
