This movie came recommended by two friends in the past week. I watched it yesterday with my fiancé and I’m so glad I did. I saw so much of myself and my journey in this film. My fiancé event noted that too. Once she gets a gig dog sitting I was really convinced! It is based on a true story, although dramatized in parts for the movie. . I started my running journey, my MeasuringLife journey, 10 years ago next week at 222.6 pounds and had only run those required mile runs in gym class over the years. I had no idea what I was doing, but I got out there and made small change after small change after small change. So much has changed over these past 10 years and I’m so thankful to that brave version of me 10 years ago that got me started. .
