Another one of LutexAbel! It's apparently a rare ship, but in my humble opinion it shouldn't be that rare; they are both delulu, share a deep loss and would complement each other! Not saying there is no toxicity and super weird stuff potential too; they need lots of therapy and weapon COF confiscation COF but come on, at least let them friends Viv TT_TT Lute needs a good friend! And Abel needs courage without the pressure of doom D:

I find it peculiar that’s there so little fan content about Abel and Vaggi interacting. Obviously, I was not expecting a substantial quantity, their interactions have been minimal so far and they move in very different circles.

Still, I’m surprised that more people haven’t thought to bring the two together in some capacity. It’s not as if they wouldn’t have much to talk about. Abel is the son of Adam and the new commander of the Exorcists, the two entities that, literally and figuratively, created the person Vaggi is/was. Lute is practically Vaggi’s arch nemesis and Abel’s subordinate and most narratively important relationship.

Additionally, although not stated in the show directly, most people in the fandom take it that the purpose of Abel’s appointment is for him to reform the remaining Exorcists. To make them less fanatical, less cruel (to Sinners and each other), less aggressive, more focused on protecting others and that punishing the ‘unworthy’ (basically less like Lute).

If we take it that this is indeed the case, what better proof that it can be done than Vaggi? The person that showed mercy to a Sinner, rejected the cruelty of Adam and Lute, and found purpose and identity in Charlie and the Hotel. It wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine that Abel takes inspiration or even guidance from Vaggi in the future when he has to deal the other Exorcists.

Basically, there’s something to be done here. I’m gonna try make a short fic about these two, see if I can make something of it.
