“In order to have faith in his own path, he does not need to prove that someone else’s path is wrong.”

Never forget
Regardless of your faith, remember to be kind. Be kind to those whom differ from you. Be kind to those who are lost, broken, alone or wandering. Be kind to those who seem distant, angry, rejecting. Be kind to Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhist, Hindus, etc. Be simply kind. It takes more strength and faith to smile than it does to judge and reject.
When it’s bad, pray. When it’s good, pray.

Beautiful and powerful!
Hi :) I am part Syrian and part white, 19 and was born in Canada. I haven't learned enough about any religions to be a part of one, but I am in touch with my spirit and I believe prayer and meditation, gratitude etc is important. I love veiling and covering because I feel like I can be my genuine self without being judged by physical appearances. I like being able to control how much of my body people can see. So I was wondering what you think about me covering my hair? Thank you so much
I think if covering your hair empowers you, and brings you closer to your spiritually, then you should do so. Nothing is more powerful than being able to both feel comfortable with who and how your are, and how you show yourself to the world. Veiling is not just for a secular religion, it is for anyone and is beautiful.
I'm Muslim so excuse the ignorance, but can you explain to me what veiling/covering is to Christianity (or possibly just Catholicism?). Is it something mandatory? I've never seen a Christian woman wear something on her head for religious reasons. Just curious and thank you in advance!
Hi, veiling use to be mandatory IN church up until probably the last 20 or so years where it was lost from favor. Some people still do it and it is called a mantilla (a lace shawl draped over ones head.). In Corinthians in the Christian bible, it is called for women to veil to show respect to God, and to show modesty and humbling. There are only a few Christan order secs that still practice it main stream (I.e. Amish) but for the most part it has died out. For those who choose to veil full time, it is show respect towards God.
Prayers for Brussels.....
