Such adorable and pretty art!!

It makes me wonder how things would have gone if the kits survived. Tbh, I think even if they did live, Mapleshade still wouldn't be allowed in Riverclan.

Her babies can stay because they're half-Riverclan, but Mapleshade herself being full Thunderclan would probably be too much to let slide.

Plus the tension with Reedshine being around and in-love with Appledusk would've risked a lot of unneeded drama and discomfort.

I wonder, if this had been the turn-out, would Mapleshade still want revenge? Would she feel like her babies were stolen from her? It's likely.

She'd probably still go through her jealousy, especially knowing Reedshine would probably become her kit's adoptive mother.

Never thought I'd make another Warrior Cats OC so soon, but this guy was on my mind the past couple of days. Meet Twitchystep!! He's a Dark Forest kitty (so he's done some bad stuff). He was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which means he has very wobbly motor skills that made him unable to care for himself as well as his clan mates could. Due to this unfortunate condition, he was seen as weak and sometimes taken advantage of by his litter mates. He became very self conscious and felt like everyone viewed him as helpless and useless. Long story short, he took the lives of a few who he felt extra anger towards (he was able to get away with it for a while because his clan didn't even believe he was even capable of such things because of his C.P). Now he wanders the after life as a lonely, easily nervous cat. While he did commit murders, he yearns for acceptance and companionship over revenge now. He also stutters alot when he talks, but can control it better around those he trusts or feels comfortable with

Brindleface x Speckletail

A ship I find literally 0 content for, somehow, but I find it super sweet.

Basically Speckletail grows close to Brindleface after losing Snowkit, because Cloudpaw/Tail reminds her of him, and Brindleface knowing the feeling of losing her own kit, comforts Speckletail and they fall in love uwu

Random babble, but with all the recent Frecklewish drama, I get reminded that people really think Bluestar deserved to go to the Darkforest.

I wont risk speaking out of turn about it, but dang... I literally re-read the entire first season of Warriors a month ago, and from my memory of her Super Edition along with that, she doesnt deserve to go to the DF imo.

I've had Appledusk apologists tell me "The kits would hate Mapleshade!" and it really really bothers me because dude they are two months old they don't even know what murder is.

Appledusk wouldn't bother doing anything for them in Starclan. BIRCHFACE would care for them. Anyone and everyone deserves better than Appledusk.

Geeze, people really think her kits would hate her too?! She loved them to death, literally!

Im sure her children would love her if they saw her again, or at least be missing her. They did no wrong, the poor things.

And I could totally see Birchface watching the kits. Appledusk already chose where his care lies, Reedshine and her kits are probably his priority now.

I understand Appledusk at least didnt kill anyone in cold blood, etc, but he was still a jerk and a cheater. Mapleshade deserved way better than him. I bet if he had shown her sympathy after her exile, she never would've killed cats. He's like a HUGE reason for her whole situation...

Currently re-reading Firestar's Quest, and they REALLY missed a great chance to make Firestar a distant relative/descent of Skyclan.

He has all these dreams about them, then learns his own Twoleg home was made in the same place of the Skyclan camp/territory...

Even Cloudstar tells him the clan scattered years ago, some becoming kittypets.

So it'd make such incredible sense if Firestar had Skyclan blood. It would explain his hunger and desire to join Thunderclan in the first place as a kittypet, and how he was so sympathetic and desperate to help Skyclan despite what Starclan would tell him.

Idk how the Erens didnt do this idea, it wouldve made the book alot more interesting.

At least it makes for a nice headcannon..

Mapleshade/Frecklewish

In light of the news that Frecklewish is in the DF, I felt a sudden inclination to make art of this pair. Basically Mapleshade doesnt actually kill her like most believe she would and they actually grow closer instead like the clanmates they use to be 👀
