i finished turnabout serenade!! i have so much to say, first of all this is the best case so far in this game. i really enjoyed every part of this case, the investigation part was as entertaining as the trial one, klavier as a prosecutor was so much better in this case

another thing that i really enoyed was the interactions between the characters, they aren't strangers anymore so their interactions were more interesting. i don't get tired of watching ema bickering with klavier and apollo, she's so real for that

Companion!Abel recruitment scene!

Much like in my Evil Rook AU, Abel is captured by Venatori mages and slowly transformed into a perfect weapon and sleeper agent through blood magic, torture, and isolation. This time, however, Rook has the chance to save him before the worst can happen.

By the time you rescue him, the experiments have already begun, so his recovery becomes the central focus of his personal quests. If Abel is never recruited (you can pick that option), he will later return as an enemy that you must kill. This will earn you an uncomfortable dialogue with Viago.

Little trivia about him as a companion...

-He will greatly approve of you punching the First Warden

-Abel will have a mean verbal altercation with Solas during the final battle. He resents him for using blood magic on Rook

-If you don’t romance him he will not romance anyone

-You can gift him a perfume

-If you are a De Riva and you killed Abel, you will have a more personal dialogue with Viago, who will openly reprimand you for it

-He has physical tics and they get worse if you don’t bond with him. They decrease when you progress in his questline.
