Tonight, on my birthday, there will be a super bloodmoon eclipse. It may also be referred to as the #HarvestMoon as it is happening close to the equinox (or new season). Throughout history, eclipses have had negative meaning, however, they are an amazing time to gain a deeper understanding of self and to redefine relationships with yourself and others. This super eclipse is a time for internal reflection, the closing of chapters, the the rebirth of opening new ones. The moon is operating in the sign of Aries, which is very much about "me", but the sun is resting in the peaceful "we" house of #libra. These two signs will "face off" so to speak. Due to these signs being opposite, the energy will be a bit off balance for the next few days. When I was in #sanfrancisco I found the coolest little cafes. This one was the #BlackPoint cafe named after the Black Point Cove of Dan Fran in the 1800's. My husband and I moseyed in about ten minutes before they closed to grab one of their popular lavender lattes and a Fishhead brew. The latte was absolutely disgusting, but the vibe of the place cozy and hipster-ish. While we didn't get to try any menu items, I read that they get all their ingredients fresh from local sources daily. While talking about The Black Point Cafe has absolutely nothing to do with the new podcast I've just uploaded to the site discussing how to navigate family problems, you've got to admit that before I said it was the exact opposite of delicious, a lavender latte sounded enticing as hell. 😎| #theselflovexperience #FAMILYPROBLEMS

I'll be turning the bit three-oh in September and like many other 29 year old people, I've had some negative wonderment around aging, specifically turning 30. Basically, I've thought about getting old as fuck and have had dreams of deepened smile lines and losing hair in random patches. The reality is though, that 30 isn't old, and in fact, according to my damn self, I'm never going to embrace the deteriorating concept around aging. Instead I'm going to embrace all I've learned, be thankful for where I am now, and be excited about what the future has in store for me. Because why the fuck not!? | #theselfloveexperience
