Meet Rei Kanroji! 甘露寺 礼

A fankid OC of Mitsuri and Obanai! Took her mothers last name as her dad did because of his distaste for his own family and love for Mitsuri. She's a bubbly girl who looks a lot like her mom, say for her father's eyes and streaks of black in her hair. She's a first year at Kimetsu Academy, Secretary of the Student Council and a lover of animals, having been around them from birth, particularly her dad's snakes (like Kabu!) She's a sweet girl who is easily flustered but can be a bit self demeaning and down on herself at times, a quality from her dad, but whenever she's down, her parents are always there to lift her up and show just how much they love her. (she/her pronouns for her! and art by Inspiredgirl000)

I've been spending some time studying portraits, and Baldur's Gate 3 gave me the perfect excuse to practice.

These paintings of Karlach, Gale, Shadowheart, Mizora, and Minthara were all focused on one goal: improving likeness. Capturing the unique features and expressions that make each character instantly recognizable was both challenging and incredibly fun.

I'm really happy with how much I learned from this little series, and I hope fellow BG3 fans enjoy these portraits as much as I enjoyed painting them.
