I think I just composed the most beautiful piece in my life, but I want more
im going to live in Tokyo for four months or half a year and make a quiet album there as well. or Orlando and just go to disneyworld or universal every week and bang it out over there.
making an album is hard, my last album is shit honestly but people give me props for the “musicianship” of it, how long will that novelty wear off? this album im playing more instruments so I guess im playing along with that novelty. I want to incorporate more people in my album but I can't pay them as session players, so im just going to keep it just me and probably ask max to get on the drums, my weak point. I keep distracting myself with helpful but unproductive habits. but I feel like they’ll help me in the long run. I think the last time I updated this was when I was in my 20′s im 31 now, and more blessed I can ever be. I have so much to say but I don't want to wear off the shine of it. maybe it’ll manifest in my music.

“Döden” (“Death”) by artist Janis Rozentāls, 1897. It rare to see death depicted in white.
It’s a refreshing change to see Death in a liberator sort of role rather than a condemner. Here they are shown light with feminine features and scythe held low and non threatening. She is bent forward and speaking as if to apologize for the sadness she will leave in her wake, but also conveying the reverence and respect she has for her position and those souls she reaps.
“I pray that my soul comes to maturity before it is reaped.”
