<p> THIS POST IS SO LATE! Apologies because it was posted to a different site but it was a great weekend and deserves to be shared... Back in action!! And what better way than the NFHCA Top Recruit Spring Fling in Richmond, VA this past weekend. Friday was the start with some good honey before a 90- minute lightening delay occurred. Luckily games resumed but the college coaches got home late. Saturday was hot and sunny- the epitome of a mild summer day. Then the mini hurricane hit. A torrential downpour that was mistaken for hail, tempestuous winds that saw tents destroyed, tables flying and chairs overturned. After about an hour, games resumed and were instead 25- minutes with no half time rather than two 25-minute halves with a small half- time. Sunday went off without a hitch but the wind lingered which left t sunny but cold-ish. Overall a great inaugural weekend for the start of almost summer hockey!!</p>
