Windclan!Hollyleaf AU Idea:

Ok so I had a big brain moment and thought- what if in the POT, Hollyleaf was born in windclan, with Nightcloud and Crowfeather being her parents? She, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather would all be part of the prophecy- “kin of your kin” would be a more symbolic thing, as Hollyleaf would technically be kin of lion and jay and is in essence family. Hollyleaf would still be a main character and present in most story beats, but would instead act as a good friend to the main cast- feeling a strange connection to them.

A big part of the arc would be Lion and Jay trying to figure out who the third cat is- only to realize it’s Hollyleaf after the fire scene/Leafpool revelation. Hollyleaf’s mental break would still happen- but instead of it being because of being half clan, it would be toward her parents and her living her life not knowing she had kin in other clans. This would further supplement Breezepelt’s anger in OOTS- as he would blame Lion and Jay for the loss of his sister as well as the parentage lies.

First Impressions of Xenoblade DE (no major spoilers don’t worry!)

God, it looks so much better! I hadn’t realized how dated the Wii game had gotten, you can actually see the character’s expressions change during minor cutscenes and heart to hearts- very neat!

The remastered music is interesting! I think during boss fights I’ll change the music to the old version because I prefer that one- but every other new soundtrack is pretty good and I think I might stick with it on the arranged track most of the game, just for a breath of fresh air.

Questing seems much easier as quest-givers are marked on the main map as well now, (no more bending around corners on the minimap looking for them!) and seems to be a bit easier to find certain monsters for them than the old game.

Overall, I’m very satisfied so far, I still haven’t made it out of colony 9 because I want to finish all the colony 9/tephra cave quests before I move on, but it’s been a blast to replay it so far!
