You are my best friend!
OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes is another series I dearly enjoy. It's such a shame that there's no official way to watch it anymore, it's up there with Infinity Train for my favourite Cartoon Network shows.

You'll always be king of my heart.
The Owl House remains one of the shows I hold dearest, with the characters being a massive part of that. Luz and King's connection is quite possibly my favourite dynamic in the show, so I knew I had to draw them next. As with all my pieces, I highly recommend checking out The Owl House. It comfortably sits among my favourite shows period.
The wilderness will always be a part of who you are.
Continuing to try new things to evolve my art, which of course means drawing more characters from properties I adore. Hilda is such a wonderful show, I highly recommend it. It's up there with The Owl House and Bocchi the Rock! for me.
Go, go, Kiki!
Dusted off the drawing tablet in celebration of Kiki's Delivery Service coming to UK IMAX cinemas next month! Secured my ticket right away and genuinely can't wait to see it on the biggest screen in the UK!
This is a redraw of a frame from the opening of the film. I wanted to try some new things that would enhance my drawing process which I believe paid off greatly! Sometimes you do need to take a step back and come back when feeling refreshed to do your best stuff.
Kiki's Christmas Service!
I wanted to make something for Christmas and to close out the year, and Kiki getting ready for the season is where that idea ended up!
Kiki's become one of my favourite characters from anything I've seen or played. Incredibly relatable and a witch too!
"What is it?"
My entry for the Indie Cross Frame Collab by JustARandom51, which you can check out and join here!
Had to pick a frame featuring my favourite indie knight, and this one stood out to me while combing through the episodes!
The blind bandit!
Recently finished Avatar: The Last Airbender and I couldn't believe how excellent it is! Oustanding action scenes, complex and charming characters, and a gripping and emotional story! It really has all I could want from a show like this!
One of my favourite moments was Toph's introduction to the show, where her blind earthbending skills are first shown off. Seeing how the show visualised Toph's vision of the world and how she uses it to fight back was very cool and not something I expected. Though Zuko and Iroh's relationship was my favourite aspect of the show, Toph quickly became my favourite character of the main group! (Not to say Aang, Katara or Sokka were bad at all! It's tough competition with a group this great!)
This is a show I will think about fondly and revisit in the coming years! I plan to watch The Legend of Korra too!
The start of many fruitless quest!
I saw TerminalMontage's pilot for their new original series, The Fruitless Quests of Nabiu, and loved it! You should check it out, it's very funny and well made! Here's a quick sketch of Nabiu and Karoto!
Character Collage 2024!
EDIT (05/04/2026): Updated to most recent version of this image. I abandoned this piece a while ago and don't plan to finish it due to lost motivation.
An unfinished sketch of my end of year piece which includes characters from various things I've watched, read and played in 2024!
We fly with our spirit!
I've been thinking about Kiki's Delivery Service quite a bit since I first watched it. It's a beautiful movie about the loss of ones passion and the process of rekindling it. It also has witches, and witches are cool. In time, it might just become my 2nd favourite Studio Ghibli film.
Anyways, here's a piece of Kiki and Jiji flying at night. I really like how this one turned out and I'm glad I spent as much time on it as I did.
Such is the life of an adventurer!
I watched Hilda earlier this year and it has since become my second favourite cartoon. I loved nearly everything about it. The pleasant style, the interesting cast, the wild yet grounded stories, it ended up being what I was expecting out of something like Gravity Falls.
I drew the intreped adventurer herself along with her trusty deerfox partner, Twig! I highly recommend this show!
I'll write a story!
A small sketch of Shizuku Tsukishima from Whisper of the Heart.
I haven't been that active with art this year, and that can be pinned on loss of motivation and passion. I'm slowly starting to pick up the pen again and have worked on a few sketches, but it's been a little slow for a while.
Despite this, I've been watching a lot of things this year. One of the things I watched was a Studio Ghibli film called Whisper of the Heart. To say that this film has impacted me in ways I could never imagine would be a huge understatement. As an artist of any craft, it's easy to compare yourself to others and view what you create with a negative bias, sometimes even wondering what the point is. Whisper of the Heart says it's okay to take things slowly and that you should enjoy the craft above all else.
If you haven't seen it and are an artist of any form, I strongly recommend you watch Whisper of the Heart. I've never felt this seen by a film before and it made me cry like no film ever has.
Character Collage 2023!
A collection of characters from media I engaged with last year interacting with each other!
I've got a roll cake!
Wanted to make another Nichijou icon, so here's Nano! She's just an ordinary schoolgirl with no secrets whatsoever! Huh? The key on her back? Completely normal!
Selamat pagi! I've now read all Nichijou volumes and really liked the vast majority of chapters in them! I'm looking forward to the future of this series now that it's being reserialized! Following on from Sakamoto, here's a drawing of Yukko!
An ordinary cat!
I've recently watched Nichijou and have started to read the manga! It's pretty funny and I like learning what some of the more cultural jokes mean! Made a drawing of Sakamoto because he's my favourite character!
Grotto Beasts!
A couple pieces from a while ago! My former favourite Grotto Beast, Festive Mimic, and my new favourite Grotto Beast, Trickstircuit!
