another older commission redraw! This one was for chapter 7 of @charlottemadison42's super gorgeous fic, Shotgun Wedding!
(you can read it here! âĄ)
Iâm SO thrilled this artwork got the âremasteredâ treatment just like a Miyazake classic, it looks GORGEOUS! Thank you so much @lonicera-caprifoliumâ, this is one of my favorite inciting moments in the story, and this drawing is just perfect. The scarf clutch. The retreat into the elevator. Aziraphaleâs expression. *swoon* Shotgun Wedding chapter 7, illustrated!
As the door closed and quiet enveloped them, it dawned on Crowley that they hadn't been alone since that classroom conference day in October. They hadn't even seen one another outside their noisy bar booth. The silence between them felt potent, electric, charged like the air before a summer lightning storm. Whatever this feeling was, it had been growing roots unchecked for months. Perhaps they'd better panic after all. Crowley decided to walk, and fast, before he did something foolish.
Rereading the masterpiece formerly known as Shotgun Wedding (@charlottemadison42) and I just remembered how much I love this illustration of one of my favorite scenes.
