I’m SO thrilled this artwork got the “remastered” treatment just like a Miyazake classic, it looks GORGEOUS! Thank you so much @lonicera-caprifolium, this is one of my favorite inciting moments in the story, and this drawing is just perfect. The scarf clutch. The retreat into the elevator. Aziraphale’s expression. *swoon* Shotgun Wedding chapter 7, illustrated!

As the door closed and quiet enveloped them, it dawned on Crowley that they hadn't been alone since that classroom conference day in October. They hadn't even seen one another outside their noisy bar booth. The silence between them felt potent, electric, charged like the air before a summer lightning storm. Whatever this feeling was, it had been growing roots unchecked for months. Perhaps they'd better panic after all. Crowley decided to walk, and fast, before he did something foolish.

It's an actual statue in Madrid, Spain, called: "Fuente del Ángel Caído" by Ricardo Bellver. It doesn't resemble David Tennant at all xd but all art of angels with snake imagery makes me go: Crowley? 👀

Aziraphale is the most character ever. He ran out of ideas so he declared war on hell. He canonically says fuck. His favourite colour is yellow. He’s literally an angel and can speak every language on earth but still isn’t fluent in french. He told his boyfriend to shoot him for his magic act and made him go through with it when their miracles weren’t working. He gave away his flaming sword and then lied about it for the next 6000 years. He has a bookshop that never sells books. No one’s doing it like him.
