nearly at my wits end with squipemy I'm not gonna lie! prepare for a long post because oh boy.
It's so unbelievably hard to talk about a romantic relationship between jeremy and squip without one of you going "and also kemonomimi squip!" yes sweetie thats great, put the cat ears down I'd like to talk to you about grooming. and it's equally as hard when one of you goes "I hate squip!" thats wonderful I'd like to talk to you as well about grooming.
you can't talk about jeremy and squip's relationship without mentioning romance or romantic aspects because that's the most common relationship when it comes to grooming: and jeremy and squip's relationship is a metaphor for grooming. among other things, sure, but grooming is the primary message. and I'm just gonna say it: sometimes this fandom is sensitive as fuck! I feel like sometimes I have to tiptoe around certain phrases or words just to avoid getting blocked or being a proship, purely because I'd like to talk about the realistics of their dynamic. I'm really going to avoid doing that now because I've stopped caring. if it brings you peace to block me for talking about their relationship in a romantic light, so be it! protect your peace by all means.
I'm not pointing fingers. I'm not trying to call anyone out. I'm not trying to say it's everyone one of this person or all of these people. it's just I see so much of people going "I'm morally better than you because I don't support this ship, now kys!" ?? at what point are you any better than them if you're threatening their life? "I'm better than you bc I don't like this ship" "well I'M better than YOU because idc what people ship" hey great put your dicks away now. I'm so tired of seeing every debate or conversation about squip and jeremy just being death threats or moral dilemmas. it's great you hate the ship, it's great you love it, can we please talk about the actual ship now?
this is really just a complaint post. it's so hard to talk about jeremy and squip as the potential romantic symbolism they are because I get called a shipper. I don't care if you ship it. I don't care if you hate it. the world isn't going to stop spinning because of either of those facts. anyway watch me make a post actually talking about them

Maybe the SQUIP had this signature song thing that it always sung around/to Jeremy. It's probably the "Be More Chill" tune thing. Jeremy catches himself humming it every now and then and it ruins his day.
