bbc's merlin was literally thee most show of all time they gave us a black actress playing guinevere, one of the greatest queerbaits of our time, katie mcgrath (sword), katie mcgrath (evil), blatant disregard for any sort of historical accuracy, a queer metaphor they publicly said "didn't mean anything", and then at the end they fucking killed king arthur. truly legendary.

When cis people only write trans guys as lithe pretty breedable boys I feel my blood boiling. I'm not saying every trans guy is masculine, but it feels weird that the stereotype is feminine and submissive in cis people's minds

A siesta? Christian Jessen, come here and see with your eyes

To those of you not aware of what has happened, I’ll tell you what this wonderful human being has decided to say today, March 13th, when the number of Covid-19 in Italy has skyrocketed over 15k.

This amazing person, talking about the total lockdown in Italy, rethorically asked if Italian people were not being over-dramatic and using this quarantine thing as an excuse for a siesta.

Now, I can’t even begin to say how disgusted I am by what this person, a doctor, has said.

As an italian person, who is living this situation in first person, I feel insulted and enraged to read such things, and I hope that this person will have to face the consequences of the idiocy he has said.

But most of all, I would want him to come here. To come here, in our hospitals, where doctors are working 20 hours shift, where dermatologists are learning how to intubate people because the medical staff is getting infected as well, where doctors have to decide who gets admitted to ICU and who instead is left to die alone in a corridor.

I would like him to come here, to look the people who are dying alone, separated from their loved ones, fully understanding that they won’t see their families ever again, and tell them that the situations isn’t bad and that we are all using it as an excuse to take a break.

Christian Jessen, if you are a man come to Italy and visit our hospitals.

Maybe instead of spitting sentences you may help your collegues.

Day 6 of quarantine

Streets are empty. Not a soul in sight except for the two guys in white suits disinfecting the area

For how apocaliptic it may seem, even only their presence brings a bit of company

Boredom and uncertainty make the days terribly long: we don’t know when we’ll be out of this, we don’t know when it’ll be over, when we’ll be able to kiss and hug again the people we love. It may be after Easter, it may be around the 10th May. Some even say June

Opening the windows, the silence is deafening

Please, people who are not in Italy and have no idea of how the situation really is: stop looking down at us, stop saying we have decided to take time for a siesta as a British idiot has declared now: we are devastated, we are scared, we are itching to see the people we love and we can’t even set a foot outside.

Stop considering us overdramatic and get informed, try to understand.

This isn’t a flu. Not now. It will be once we will have vaccines and medicines, once our immunitary system will get used to Covid-19.

As of now, it’s an emergency. #Stayhome , wash your hands, and get informed
