[Mihawk kicks open the door of Buggy's office, Crocodile behind him.]

Buggy: What the hell?!

Mihawk: It's time.

Crocodile: We are actually going to murder you.

Mihawk: And we're going to do it slowly so we can savor it.

Buggy: What did I do?!

Crocodile: Don't play dumb, you know exactly what you did!

Mihawk: I could deal with the poster insinuating that we're working under you. I could deal with that godawful ship of yours. But this is too much.

Buggy: *crying* Please, I didn't do anything, just tell me what it is and I'll make it better, I promise!

Crocodile: Are you seriously telling me you didn't know anything about THESE?! *Slams these bad boys down on the desk*

Buggy: 😳 Oh. No, I didn't....But...but they're so CUTE!!! 🤩

Mihawk: They're NOT cute, they're an insult!! I'm not cute!!!

Buggy: But look at his grumpy lil' pout! And Croc, that mischievous grin! They're adorable!

Crocodile: Shut the hell up, they're not cute!

Mihawk: Did you truly not know anything about these?!

Buggy: I didn't! But I love them! Are we selling them?!

Crocodile: .........

Buggy: .........

Mihawk: ..............yes.

Crocodile: We've made millions of berri practically overnight.

Mihawk: They are, regrettably, a hit.

Buggy: Then what's the problem?!

Crocodile: The problem is that YOUR crew made cutesy figurines out of two the most powerful, terrifying pirates in the world! AND THEN SOLD THEM TO THE PUBLIC!

Mihawk: One of the most powerful, terrifying pirates in the world, and Crocodile. But the point stands.

Crocodile: ....I'm going to ignore that for now only because the clown is the current target of my ire.

Buggy: Wait, so where's my figure?! Why didn't my crew make one of me?!

Crocodile: Oh, they did.

Mihawk: And that's the worst part. They did. *Slams another figure down on the desk.*

Buggy: 😳 Hoo boy.....I can't grovel my way outta this one, can I?

The Shanks fandom is downright FEASTING right now. Thanks, Oda, you somehow made the hottest, sluttiest man in the story hotter and sluttier.

I have been on Pinterest for like 15 years. Nowadays, I use it for two things: finding crochet patterns, and finding pictures of my blorbos.

Yes, I do have a private board just for One Piece. Yes, you can have access if you ask.

But like every other website being slowly enshittified, Pinterest is relying on AI to recommend things to you. And boy does it suck! Here are some I just got, in order from least awful to most.

1. I'll allow it.

2. It is. Men. Pieces of men. Yes.

3. I now headcanon that Beckman and Crocodile occasionally get mistaken for each other, despite looking only vaguely alike. The Dan Radcliffe and Elijah Wood of the One Piece world. It was funny at first but after like a decade of it they're both annoyed.

4) Inexcusable. Even the dynamic is off! The dynamic!!!

In conclusion, AI is good for some things, but the thing it's most good for is being so bad it's funny.

The other day I was dying laughing at the thought of Zoro (first time feeling attraction) talking to Luffy (never felt attraction in his life) about his feelings for Sanji and them coming up with a wildly incorrect assumption about what's happening

[Shanks just lost his arm and is practicing drawing his sword with his right hand even though he still carries it on his right side. He struggles to get it from his sheath and when he does it sends him stumbling. The crew is watching, amused.]

Yasopp: Shanks, for god's sake, just keep your sword on your left side!

Shanks: No! That's where my brother keeps his, and I'm not about to get mistaken for that asshole!

Crew: *blinking*

Roux: Your.....what?

Hongo: You have a brother?!

Shanks: Yeah, I've told you guys about Hanks.

Beckman: You sure as shit have not!!!

Shanks: Of course I have! You know, my evil twin who's a Celestial Dragon!

I headcanon that movies are definitely a thing in the One Piece world, but due to the nature of transponder snails, they're somewhat rare. Like the early days of cinema, yeah you can definitely go to the theater and watch a film (with specially-bred Surround Sound snails), but you can't watch them at home unless you own one of those massive video snails, which most people don't, because the upkeep is very expensive.

Mihawk, unfortunately, is a massive cinephile and very wealthy, and does own a video transponder snail. It roams free on Kuraigana until he needs it.

Watching a film is one of the few times Mihawk will freely express emotion (though he doesn't realize he's doing it, in his mind he's just stating facts). But he's also one of those people with whom it's kind of a pain in the ass to watch movies because he's just so excited about it. He's going to point out every unique camera angle and explain in detail how they did it. He's going to go on a tangent about the musical motifs and where they show up and why. He's going to dissect every word choice, every costume, every lighting decision and is the exact opposite of "sometimes the curtains are just blue."

During the time skip he will force Zoro and Perona to watch movies with him and at first will try to present them as "There's a lesson in this film that it's vital that you learn in order to become stronger. No, I'm not going to tell you what it is, you just have to figure it out for yourself." It's only after the third or fourth time he makes them watch whatever the One Piece world equivalent to Airplane is that they realize he's just trying to share his interests with them.

I’m gonna bring this back because I will truly die on this hill and I wanna here y’all thoughts on this.

But I do genuinely believe with all my heart that Mihawk and Doffy should speak Spanish (maybe specifically Spain Spanish cause I know they are different) and more importantly they should speak it to each other. Or more accurately Doffy should speak it at Mihawk while Mihawk adamantly pretends he doesn’t exist.

I am also on team Mihawk Speaks Spanish. Can you imagine him calling you cariña? Querida? Mi reina? Mmmmmf!

I also like to imagine him yelling at Zoro and Perona in Spanish a la Ricky Ricardo. He calls them espadachínito and fantasmita endearingly but they just assume it's an insult.

Mihawk and the Red Haired Pirates

-Look I don't know what to tell you, Mihawk's epithet is literally Hawkeyes meaning he is world-renowned for his eyesight meaning that he'd probably make a good sharpshooter. And maybe Yasopp decides to test this theory with a little friendly competition. And after giving Mihawk a quick intro into how guns work, maybe Yasopp had to pull out every trick there is in the book to narrowly avoid losing to said Hawkeyes, who as it turns out is indeed very good at hitting targets and who had literally just learned how to cock a gun not even 30 minutes ago. But who's to say what actually happened, the day of November 25th at 2:35pm? Certainly not Yasopp, the record clearly shows he is undefeated.

-Once a year Ben and Mihawk go on a little trip just the two of them. They act like it's just so they can shit-talk Shanks but actually, they just go fishing somewhere in the middle of the ocean and drink horribly overpriced and fancy alcohol. Look Benn loves his crew, and would die for them but also if he doesn't get at least a week to himself once every year he'd kill them all himself. He deserves nice things and a little peace and fucking quiet and not being constantly inundated with the whims of a man child and Mihawk's the closest he's ever gonna get to a friend with taste, and he travels alone with a bunch of fancy wine. Sue the man. Mihawk who would rather nap is fine to let someone else sail his overgrown raft against the annoyingly ever-changing grandline for a week or two.

-Wouldn't it be cute if Mihawk learned a lot of his fancier cooking techniques from Roux? Like he knew how to cook to survive but watching Roux is how he learned to like properly dice vegetables and that eating fish prepared the same way three times a day is not infact a life he would like to lead. This was of course less cute to Lucky Roux who in the beginning had no clue what was happening and only felt the weight of Mihawk's otherworldly stare on the back of his neck as he handled knives. (he defiantly for at least a little bit, thought Mihawk had a knife fetish. which, he's not entirely wrong)

-To Building Snake (who I just learned is the RHP's navigator) Mihawk might as well be a modern-day miracle. In his eyes, Mihawk's sailing is proof that god exists, because only divine intervention can explain how this man ever gets anywhere never mind on time or early even. Building Snake is pretty sure he owns neither a map nor a log pose and he has never actually seen the sails of Mihawk's pretend ship unfurled or in use. Actually, he has never seen Mihawk do anything but sit menacingly on the throne in the middle of the boat, which why? If you think about it for even a second longer that 2 minutes how Mihawk "sails" anywhere breaks every law of physics and somehow even the concept of geography. Building Snake would like to dissect him and study him under a microscope but knows the boss would disapprove.
