I actually don’t know exactly how she met Melior, but he used to be a red visor, and after he was liberated, they met, and he was like “oh, we can slander some people.” And she was like “YES” and so she became his camerawoman, and he gives all the big stories. The best way I can compare them to a modern news station is they’re like Fox News. They say they’re an editorial, not a news station, (on their website) but no one pays attention to that. Their main audience is humans who want to be super woke and show that they’re not against these new Nindroids, as well as a few g4 Nindroids.
Betty adores Melior (they are in a relationship, just for reference) and adores her job. They make good money, and by the nature of their job, they cause as much havoc as they can legally. (For instance, one time they figured out that since the monastery is as old as it is, it’s technically not private property, so they used that to interview the green ninja.)
They refuse to report on just a few people: Cyrus and Milton, (purely because they know they could get in loads of legal trouble) Simone (they respect her enough to leave her alone) and, most of the time, Zane (he’s “old news” and they don’t understand why he’s so special anyways)
Once she’s behind the camera, she’s silent. But any other time? She’s hooting and hollering, a true gaslight, Gatekeep girlboss of a woman. Melior and her are so loyal to each other it’s unreal. (Think Moxie and Millie from Helluva Bods, but they both have Millie’s personality)
Like, whenever he finishes a story and they cut to black, she lowers the camera and yells “THATS MY MAN!!” And whenever she does anything remotely praiseworthy he yells “FSM YOURE SO HOT” and they’re just
