why is everyone pretending like things are back to normal now? governments wanna open up schools and universities again, the news is no longer reporting the covid-19 pandemic the way it was a month ago, people have started having get-togethers and birthday parties again and meanwhile scientists think that covid-19 is airborne now?! like... we're still in the middle of a fucking pandemic and it's worse than we thought. people are dying because they think things are "back to normal" again. no they're fucking not!! the government and the businesses just want your fucking money!! this is just capitalism at play because as usual, they don't give a fuck if you die as long as you just give them your money. so please wear a mask, please wash your hands and please socially distance!! and remember things are not back to normal!!!

Look, these two charts are literally all that needs to be said about the ace discourse.

If your identity is the target of homophobia or transphobia, you are LGBT, regardless of the strength, regularity, or variability of your attraction.

If your identity is not the target of homophobia or transphobia, you are not LGBT, regardless of the strength, regularity, or variability of your attraction.

The ace and aro community and the LGBT community are capable of being two communities, with LGBT aces and aros being full members of both, not diminished in any identity. (Someone said that the Venn diagram cordoned off LGBT aces and aros somehow; that’s not how a Venn diagram works. A Venn diagram shows that a group or concept is common to two or more groups or concepts. If you want to know more about Venn diagrams, go look on Wikipedia?)

The LGBT community is a political entity developed to protect its members against, agitate for the end of, and develop resources against, homophobia and transphobia. Any other issue or problem, regardless of its merit, is best taken care of by another community. Intersectional issues that face members of the LGBT community can absolutely be tackled, but issues that are purely about another concept or issue do not need to be taken care of the LGBT community.

I really need Democrats and liberals as a whole to understand that screaming at people to vote blue no matter who is perhaps one of the worst political mindsets in modern history. The current blue front runner is a man who supported segregation, a man who sat by as his president and apparent best friend ordered the deaths of thousands of innocents in the name of expanding American influence. He’s a man who not only supported but in fact legislated mass incarceration. He’s a man who countless times has said racist and homophobic statements with no prompting whatsoever.

Joe Biden is a racist, bigoted American nationalist who proudly touts his efforts in writing the preliminary bill that formed the fascistic Patriot Act, and somehow all of you so called progressives have been totally convinced he’s an acceptable choice. You didn’t pick the lesser of two evils. You fucking picked evil. That’s the end point of that argument. You saw what this monster has done throughout his life, and you said you were okay with that because he’s from one political party instead of another.

When millions more innocent people are deported, when thousands more children are separated from their parents and thrown in cells with no care or human decency, when hundreds die every year from the violence of American hegemony, I want you all to know that’s what you support. You all can look at that, you all can see that happen, and instead of fighting it, instead of choosing to act, you can cast a vote for the next imperialist hellbent on murder, and feel satisfied. If we worked less, we’d have time to cook our own meals, fix our devices, do DIY projects, grow food, talk to our neighbors, improve our communities, get our stuff from real stores instead of ordering on amazon, maybe even go around and find a small business instead of just going to walmart because it’s easy, walk or bike instead of drive, play in the park instead of collapsing in front of the TV to turn our brains off, look around a public library instead of just buying online, etc, etc, etc

Liberalism can’t explain things like why we still work 8 hour days when it’s well-proven that 4 hour days increase both happiness and overall productivity because it can’t recognize the fundamentally adversarial relationship we have with the owning class. It's the fault of the company you're working for not planning to actually provide services for disabled people

Acoffee shop owner once told me he raised their prices because their electric bill went “through the roof” when people with laptops started using their (three) outlets. So I looked it up: it costs $8 A YEAR to keep one whole laptop charged. He could have off set that (maybe) 50 bucks A YEAR by replacing his lightbulbs with compact fluorescents. But instead he raised his prices on coffee .50 and made an extra 200-400 bucks A DAY.

Did You Know? The Mandalorian

Hey Star Wars fans, everyone on the ‘net is raving about the hit new Disney Plus program “The Mandalorian,” but there are some tantalizing secrets that only the most epic of superfans know. Join me as I “blast off” in to the lore of this fantastic television show. 

Did you know? Mandalorian co-creator Taika Waititi has confirmed that the show was inspired by the Western genre of old, movies focusing on the famous “cow boys” of the Wild West. It is unknown where exactly the real “Wild West” was, but what IS known is that The Mandalorian is based on the film “The Man With No Name.”

This clever reference can be decoded from two clues within the show. Firstly, the titular Mandalorian is a man (1) without a name (2). This reference is further supported by the show’s title, which starts with the same six letters as The Man With No Name. These letters are “T,” “H,” “E,” “M,” “A,” and “N.” These six letters combined with Mandy’s lack of a name prove it! The rest of the letters in title was cleverly altered to keep the secret safe.

But what about the rest of those letters? It is believed that the “Dalorian” in the show’s title is a reference to the time-traveling super car from the hit 1990s film “Back To The Future,” in which the rascally Doctor Martin McFly travels through time and space to change the past and the future.

This theory is further supported by the recently-released final episode of The Mandalorian, in which the lovable Baby Yoda is sent backwards in time to keep him safe from the clutches of the evil Empire. From the past, Baby Yoda grows up in to the lovable Jedi Master, Yoda, from the original trilogy of Star Wars Films!
