"y'all probably know the story of orpheus and eurydice. but they are SO tragedy. they are TEXTBOOK tragedy. they redefined the genre. on their literal wedding day as she's walking down the aisle eurydice gets bit by a snake and dies. orpheus loves her so much he goes down to the underworld to try and save her. hades allows him to take her back to the land of the living, as long as she walks behind him, and he cannot look back, otherwise her soul will be taken. he's mostly fine , but begins to doubt and at the very end of the tunnel, he looks back. they lock eyes for a moment before she disappears back into hell. orpheus is then so distraught that he wanders the earth singing mournful melodies and gets stoned to death by some nymphs who think his sad songs are bumming them out. DUUUUDE their story consumed my every waking thought as a child."

I’m doing another tournament! This one will most likely be my last one, so I decided to finish my tournament saga by throwing all my Blorbos into a pit and see who comes out on top!

Obviously I don’t expect this to be anything big, but feel free to drop by to judge my taste in characters or whatever.
Red guy is usually the person who will turn to the camera and ask a question (ex: episode 4 of the web series he turns to the camera and asks "In this digital world, what can we do?" And then after not getting answered repeats "What can we do?" With annoyance in his voice, to which the teacher of the episode finally answers)
In the end of same episode he walks in on a bootleg filming of episode 1, causing his head to explode most likely due to being forced to acknowledge he's in a web series
In episode 6 he's the one who finds, messes with, and pulls the plug to the control panel, in the process of trying to figure out the control panel he spawns in and despawns multiple different used and unused teachers, witnessing on the monitor as they torment Yellow Guy. However, he doesn't seem to retain this information across the web series into the television series.
In the intro to episode 3 of the TV series (Family) Red screams "We live in an aCTUAL NIGHTMARE" implying he may be aware of their situation as television characters, however this could also just be due to the circumstances of the previous two episodes.
Squid Baron:
His entire joke is build around him becoming self-aware of his role as a video game character and consequently, his role as a “filler boss” in the series with no actual relation to the plot. This leads to him suffering “post-boss-syndrome”. Yes that’s apparently a thing in these games. All he wants now is to not be a filler boss again and wishes for a new purpose in life, in this case, getting to star in his very own videogame, leading to him constantly making fun of the Shantae series and videogames in general. Also as soon as Squid Baron shows up suddenly EVERYONE around him becomes self aware. Squid Baron isn’t just a fourth wall breaker, he’s a fourth wall wreaking ball. He’s what you get when you try to divide the fourth wall by 0

real pokemon moment. we chinese really saw a cat, asked it what it wanted to be named as, and then called it that. we even kept the same intonation (the dash over the a) to ensure that everyone else who knew chinese would talk to the cat in the exact same way the cat called to us.
it's got 3 radicals; the left (犭) for quadruped animal, the cap (艹) for grass, and the base (田) for field, like rice fields. that's basically the whole backstory of how we saw and met the cat. the kitty really was just coming in from the grass on his 4 lil paws to our field and introduced themselves as mao. ily cat

猫 as a character is peak cat! It's been a while since I've been in Chinese school, so bear with me, but the left side uses the claw symbol, which shows it's an animal, and the right side (苗, pronounced miáo) helps explain its pronunciation. 苗 specifically means something along the lines of seedling/young/descendant and isn't really depictive of what it means, but when I was younger, I thought it looked a little like a cat with little ears and whiskers as well. (Chinese cats say "喵" (miāo) which ties back to the 苗 symbol as well!) Also, 猫 "māo" is kind of pronounced like a meow, which I think should give it bonus points. Overall, 猫 is the peak word for cat! :3
you cannot tell me they are not the perfect word for a kitty cat. they came up to us and introduced themselves, so we decided to call them by the name they call themselves, and in mandarin, we call them "little māo" because they are our little meow meows!! they are our babies!! also chinese is Ancient. our writing system goes back like 4000 years!! and we are still using it! i admit we probably weren't calling them 貓 for all these 4000 years but respect your elders! /lh
