The thing about these characters is that even if it turned out that Louis was as much of a liar as he is in the books… okay and?

Even if he knew what Armand was doing for every single one of those fifty two years and lied right to Daniel’s face (still not confirmed either way)… so?

I like him as much as I ever did. Louis is a liar. An unintentional and intentional one. He’s manipulative and sincere. Vindictive and compassionate.

I can’t get over this need to clear every character of the bad things they do. That’s so uninteresting. Louis is a more layered character for being capable of good and still doing obviously terrible things. He remains firmly in the grey, as does everyone else. Just let him be complex.
