Haha. I mean, pretty much. xD Everyone is v. exasperated that Will and Marcie won’t just get on with it. I bet M even has like a special dispensation thing sitting in her desk, waiting for when the two of them come to her like: “so, um… yeah… about us…” Then she’ll just look at them, slap the paper on the desk and be like: “ABOUT BLOODY TIME. SIGN THE DAMN THING AND GET BACK TO WORK.” Haha.

And oh my god, that’d be perfect. Like I bet it’d be almost word for word, except like different inflections/intonations, a lot more of Marcie gently flirting behind her total shock that her new Quartermaster is so incredibly gorgeous. And the smile she’d have after his Earl Gray/Pajamas quote. Oh, she’d be sunk, totally sunk.

As for Bill, I’m thinking they have been off/on since she came to MI-6 and was assigned as his partner, yeah. They were mostly on, though, until Will came. I think Will coming to work at MI-6 was what changed Bill and Marcie’s relationship, whether she’ll admit it or not.

Haha! ALWAYS CRASHING ON EACH OTHER’S COUCHES. Though, yeah, if Marcie had to slip away to see Bill, she’d probably just leave Will asleep on the couch and go off to whatever hotel she was meeting Bill in or go to his flat. I have a feeling that Jackie and Marcie may have a No-Bill-Tanner-in-the-flat understanding or something. Just because Jackie knows how Marcie really feels about Will, and that might be a way she tries to help? (I know you’re around-ish Kate, so you can say one way or another if this would be true!)

Though poor Will, then. Because Marcie totally wouldn’t be in the flat at all when he woke up, and it probably happens almost every time he sleeps over, because Marcie is a scaredy-cat and would run away to “safe” Bill.

And omg, yess. Haha. Marcie would be so pleased that he always agrees, too. Totally ends up snuggling with him and sleeping with her head on his chest or something. And tbqh, even despite the drinking, it’s probably always the best sleep she ever has. Because she feels safe and comforted and just… happy.

YES. YES TO WILL LIVING RIGHT BY MARCIE’S FAVORITE BARS. Or, y’know, Marcie picking bars by Will’s flat to be her favorites BECAUSE she knows they’re by his flat. But how adorable, Will just groaning about having to pick her up again, as it’s like the third time that week. (though her last mission had been difficult and she had come back looking fairly shaken—at least for Marcie.) And she’s just laughing in the back corner with some random people she befriended, drink in hand as Will comes over, and she just lets out a loud yell, wraps her arms around Will’s neck and kisses him soundly on the cheek. “Oh, darling. I’m so glad you came. These lovely boys and I were just dying for some fresh company, have a drink with us…” But Will probably is like: “aaah, how about we’re done for the night? Come on, Marcie.” and then brings her back up to his flat.

SHE PROBABLY HAS LIKE A DRAWER OR SOMETHING AT HIS FLAT TOO, BECAUSE THIS HAPPENS SO OFTEN. OR, LIKE, CERTAIN CLOTHES OF HIS THAT SHE’S DRUNKENLY CLAIMED BEFORE, A CERTAIN T-SHIRT MAYBE AND A PAIR OF SHORTS, AND IT’S GOTTEN TO THE POINT WHERE MAYBE WILL JUST PULLS THEM OUT AS SOON AS HE SEES HER CALLING. *sobs forever*

OH MAN. THAT. I CAN SOOO SEE THAT. And they'll just be like "how did you know?" and M will just be like "WHO DIDN'T KNOW?! WE'VE HAD A POOL RUNNING IN THIS OFFICE FOR YEARS ABOUT HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE. I JUST WON." At this point the criminals probably even know. .... Now I kind of want Scaramanga to ask how her little floopy haired boyfriend is doing, hahahaha.

The Earl Grey and pajamas line is the actual greatest. I can see her bringing that back up later too. Like maybe he wakes up one morning to find her sitting on the edge of the bed in a fancy dress with a gun and she's just like "I caught [insert awful criminal here] this morning. What have you done, pajama boy?" And then hands him a cup of Earl Grey, smirks and walks out. Or something like that, haha. But, anyway, yesss.

Alsooo. Did we decide how long it's been since Will started at MI-6? Because I, um, totally can't remember o_o But, anyway, that sounds perfect!! Though do you think Will would've known about Marcie's relationship with Bill right off? I'm sure he found out at some point (yeah?) but how soon do you think that might've been? Though, honestly, I'm thinking Will probably HARDLY EVER mentions her relationship with Bill. That's probably such a sore subject with them. Because of reasons, ha.

OH MY GOODNESS. THAT'S SO SAD. AAAAH. Will waking up a lot to find her already gone. (Well I hope he has a pretty good relationship with Jackie if that happens while he's at their flat, haha. Kate, maybe Jackie brings him a cup of tea and just kind of shakes her head that Marcie isn't there and then asks if he wants a ride to the office?) But I totes agree that would tooootally happen. And maybe he actually prefers that she stay at his flat because he knows she'll be there the next morning? And he probably sleeps better too. Because as much as she feels safe, he feels the same. And even though he acts exasperated by having to collect her YET AGAIN his heart seriously probably skips a beat when his phone chirps and it's time to go bring her home. And I can see him, like, peeling her off of him and, like, patting her should as he extracts her from the bar. AND IT'S KIND OF THE CUTEST THING EVER. AAAAAAAH.

AND THE DRAWER. AAAAH. THAT IS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. And she can seriously claim anything of his she wants. Maybe she even claims one of his cardigans and, like, even took it with her her once and he happens to find it or see her wearing it sometime when he's at her flat. BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE SO SWEET. But oh man. He would toootaaaally set out clothes for her as soon as she calls. And can you imagine her seeing them when she gets to his flat and, like, softly patting his face because he's her "sweet Will" or something, haha. (Also love that he has a space in her closet or something.)

Exactly. I love it already. Weekly Quartermaster lunches. <3 It’s a thing. We’ve decided. haha.

BUT YES. OMG. YES GOOD. They should totally be into the same bands. Like, I could see Kaitlyn being SUPER SHOCKED that he liked whomever it is, too, just because he does seem so divorced from anything that isn’t MI-6. But at the same time, being so excited, too, and demanding that he come with her to their next concert. Which’ll TOTALLY lead into Will 100% hacking into the ticketmaster website. XD

'Cause you're right, Kaitlyn would blink at him, like: “Um… You do realize there's a kiosk only a few blocks away, right?” Before just throwing up her hands, pulling the laptop closer and being all: “Please tell me you at least got us front row tickets. And would it be too much to ask for backstage passes? If you're hacking the system, at least get us the good stuff!” Hahaha.

Omg, can you imagine Will going with Kaitlyn on the times when she’s like: “I NEED TO GO SING KARAOKE. YOU’RE COMING WITH ME.” xD And they’re at this super seedy bar, and Will in the corner in his little cardigans with his soda water, and it’s probably the most hilarious thing ever.

And I think more than anything, Kaitlyn just likes having the company. She wouldn’t force him to drink if he didn’t want to, though she’d probably like like him ~try her drinks if he was interested. Tell him to at least take a sip of something, see if he likes it. “And if not, at least I have a designated please-walk-me-to-the-tube person for the rest of time.”

THOUGH OH MAN, KAITLYN WOULD TOTALLY FEED INTO WILL GOING A BIT NUTS ONE NIGHT. Probably because his tolerance would be CRAZY below hers, so she’d be able to keep up with him and still generally keep her wits about her. <3 So Kaitlyn’d be all: “Yeah! Let’s totally get another round of shots, you’re fine!”

Then 100% deposit him on Jarcie’s doorstep and run away laughing to herself. xD

AND OMG BILLIARDS. I’d be so down for drunk!Billiards. Kaitlyn would start him up on bets over the game and bleed him DRY. xD Obvi would pick up his tab, etc. but still… totally bleed him dry of all his cash.

They play it on the tube all the time. I'm not deaf, K." And then he'd probably be suuuuper amused BECAUSE FINALLY KNOWS WHAT SOMEONE IS TALKING ABOUT. THAT, LIKE, EVER HAPPENS.

ALSO. KARAOKE. YES. I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE. Because you just know Kaitlyn will try to make him sing something with her. And he'll just end up on the stage with his cardigan and, like, nervously pushing his glasses up his nose and probably half heartedly singing while Kaitlyn is giving it her all. YES THIS. Also taking all his money in billiards. YES THAT. She should also ask him for the rest of forever if he's up for a rematch. And, like, never ever let him forget about it. Because that sounds absolutely hilarious and awesome. And Will would probably just turn bright red everytime she mentions it and ask if she would PLEASE stop mentioning it at some point. But oh man. When they're actually playing, I can see Will like drunkenly turning to the bar and being like "I AM THE KING OF THE BILLIARD TABLE. WOULD ANYONE LIKE TO PLACE BETS? I AM ABOUT TO CRUSH THIS LITTLE GIRL." And then, like, toootaaaaally fail. Even though he tries so hard to calculate his shots but he's too drunk to actually hit the ball correctly or something. Haha. Perfect. xD Quartermaster lunch club. I mean, there’s really only four of them, so it could totally work. Take up one little table in the nearby cafe, chat and laugh with each other, make sure everyone knows what they need to know. :3 

AND AAWWEEE. WILL. BRINGING HER TEA. Kaitlyn would probably make him stay and have tea time with her too. She’d keep like a little canister of chocolate biscuits in her desk or something for when Will comes in for tea. :) Super cute. And to be honest, they probably get on really well, even past Kaitlyn needing ~someone to like her enough to make sure she doesn’t get kicked out. I have a feeling that they’re into the same kinds of music or books or tv and stuff. Probably sit there laughing for hours about random things until someone comes in like: “…um? I thought we had a meeting?” And the two of them just look at each other, mugs in hand like: “oh…right… work.”

omg though, the two of them trying to corral Jason and Scarlett. xD Hilarious. Though I agree that as soon as they were done setting those two up to go off on their missions, Will and Kaitlyn would just collapse on the floor. Will would suggest tea, Kaitlyn would be like: “after that? I’d say we need something a bit stronger, my friend.” and then drags him off to the pub right around the corner.

And then she does a lot of the same for him outside of work too. Like I can totally see her becoming very distressed to hear that Will doesn’t get out much. Just because Kaitlyn is so anti-mediocrity that she can’t imagine anyone being content just sitting at home. So she probably drags him out to movies and the theatre and to bars and such. Tries to make him have a good time.

I could totally see her framing it in a manner of “you need to see the outside sometime, you know. Fresh air and whatnot?”

Exactly, haha. And besides the, like, secretaries and things they're probably one of the only groups with regular office hours. So they could totes have lunch together everyday and have a nice little chat. Which actually sounds super perfect and is definitely something I need in my life =3

OH MAN. TEA TIME SOUNDS AMAZING. And completely and totally spot on. Because, um, yes. I can sooo see them having all the same interests. And losing themselves talking about them. Maybe there's a band they both like and they're constantly trying to get tickets to see them or something? (Though, I actually think Kaitlyn is a lot more ~modern than Will so maybe she finds out that he's never been to a concert or something and is like NO WE NEED TO GO SEE THEM NOW. And then Will gets really into it and tries to help her find tickets and, like, appears in her office with his laptop all like "So I hacked into the ticketmaster mainframe and it should go live tonight but I went ahead and reserved us two tickets." And Kaitlyn's just like "O_O I thought we'd just pop down to the station and, you know, BUY THEM." And basically he just has no concept of how normal people do things, haha.)

I feel like he actually doesn't drink all that much since I'm thinking he actually prefers tea since it helps to keep his wits about him since he's basically always working. Marcie as the one like Freddie who is always looking for trouble and biting at the bit to go, go, go while Will is more like Bel: shyer, with the underlying potential for a flame.

And I’m just wondering if when they first met, Marcie was her usual flirty self, didn’t really pay much mind to Will (after all, she had Bill in her pocket, so she was satisfied), but then…something happened? And all of a sudden she’s like: “hmmm… there’s something about you. you interest me.” and then BOOM. WILLCIE BEGINS.

But omg, yes. haha. Marcie totally drags Will out all the time. Or calls him when she goes out and gets drunk and makes him take her home. OR SOMETIMES THEY END UP CRASHING ON EACH OTHER’S COUCHES?!

Though you KNOW Marcie would make Will let her sleep in his bed with him if she was crashing at his flat this time. “I get lonely, Q. I’m used to someone next to me. Besides, you wouldn’t want me rolling off your couch in my sleep and giving myself brain damage, would you? *pouts*”

Maybe Will lives close to the pubs she usually frequents? Because I actually can't see him driving, haha. (I can sooo see that being the one skill he hasn't mastered. SO EXCITED ABOUT QUARTERMASTER BUDDIES. ALL THE QUARTERMASTERS BUDDIES TOGETHER, I WANT IT. <33

But! Good question! I would assume so, actually. I would think that Will would help set Kaitlyn up in her office, show her around, help get her settled, etc. Obviously he’d leave her alone to meet her agents and such, but I could see him sticking with Kaitlyn for the first couple days, checking on her a lot to make sure everything is going smoothly.

And it’ll all be really easy too, as long as Will is kind and generally not suspicious of Kaitlyn. Haha. She’s playing the sweetheart very well, and would respond VERY well to Will trying to make sure she felt comfortable and at home. <3

I could see her really starting to make good friends with Will because he is such a kind person. And especially now that you and Kate decided that Jason and Scarlett work together a lot, I can TOTALLY see them hanging out and sighing about their difficult agents. haha. <3

Maybe they’re also sort of each other’s default ~hang out person outside of MI-6? Like if either Will or Kaitlyn are kinda in the dumps they’re like: “….Yo. I heard there’s this cool movie playing, you feel like a night out?”

Also Kaitlyn and Will at the movies is a thing I need in my life. Because I feel like Will does, like, nothing outside of work. He's probably seriously such a lost puppy outside of work. And maybe Kaitlyn finds that out and so she's constantly asking him to do things so he'll "see what outside looks like" or something like that? Because that actually sounds all kinds of hilarious, haha.

HAHAHAHA that’s good, then, bc I feel like if you want to retain some level of calmness/sanity around him, you kind of have to go with the flow.  In which case, I think Jason would quite like him bc the little MI-6 family is the closest thing he has to a functional relationship with anyone and he tends to like people who let things roll off their backs.

ANYWAY, I feel like you did read Lauren’s [ drabble ], but I feel like that actually gives some interesting views into Jason’s relationships with both members of Willcie, you know?  Anyway, yes, we decided that they do have a kind of sibling relationship and, like Jackie, Jason is also Team Willcie.  He just…yknow, in his own unique way.

Ummm, not really but under the right circumstances, he could be persuaded to go out drinking I think.  But even short of that, he might even loiter over to Q’s office like, “Marcie is being quite impossible.  Put a stop to it,” or whatever.  This is also his version of shipping it, fyi.  Also, with Q being Alex’s boss, now, I can see Jason just like ~randomly appearing in his office and like idek just ~random questions/demands, &c.  Because that’s Jason.

Oh goodie, haha. Then these two should get along splendedly! I honestly feel like Q sees MI-6 as his family as well. Especially his agents since their lives are basically in his hands much of the time. And since Jason and Marcie are close, he would definitely feel a fondness for him.

Also, yessss. The drabble of FEEEELSSSSS. Okay so in that case, I actually feel like maybe these two would be friends in their own right? Maybe they do talk on occasion and have a bit of a fondness for one another? Especially since now that we've thrown Scarlett into the mix and Q is her Quartermaster, I'm thinking Jason might be making, um, more visits to see Q than he would otherwise? haha. Also, since Jason and Scarlett work together quite a bit, do they have to coordinate Quartermasters or something like that? (Wow. Okay. Don't think that's how you word that. NOW I'M PICTURING SCARLETT AND JASON, LIKE, TRYING TO MAKE KAITLYN AND WILL MATCH. BECAUSE THEY'RE WEARING THE WRONG COLORS OR SOMETHING. ... This day has been so long. So we never really talked about our characters on ToTS, somehow????  (How did we manage that????)  So let’s fix that!!!  ;DDDD  Aside from William quite obv being Q and therefore connected to everyone, they share another quite obvious connection in the form of Marcie.  Jackie and Marcie are basically connected at the hip and even share a flat.  Basically, Jackie knows there’s ~something there (and is also Team Willcie all the way ;DDD)  

That being said, there’s also Jackie’s connections to other British government agencies whose contacts she sometimes prefers, etc, and basically idk how he’d feel about that.

So yeah.  We have some fodder here.  ;DDDD  Thoughts?

Okay, so, here's what I'm thinking. Lauren and I haven't entirely fleshed out Willcie yet but we'll probably do something similar to what we've done with all of our other BenxRom pairs which is basically things that are similar to the Hour, haha. Well on the Hour they're totes the best of friends and chat on the phone a lot and come round to one another's flats at all hours of the night and such. And even though Will is FAAAAR more shy than Freddie, I'm thinking it might be kind of similar? So maybe he comes to their flat quite a bit and so he and Jackie see one another a lot that way? (And LAUREN I KNOW YOU'RE READING THIS WHAT DO YOU THINK?)

So maybe something along those lines? And maybe these two are friends in their own right? I can see Will definitely having a fondness for Jackie especially since she's such a good agent. And I can, um, kind of see her teasing the pants off of him which would be absolutely hilarious, ha. So yeah. Thoughts?

Ahahaha oh man. That is basically the greatest description of Jason, like, EVER. But hmm. I think Q would probably take it all in stride? Like the way he does with Bond in the film. It would probably just kind of amuse him. Especially since Jason isn't his agent so he doesn't actually have to deal with him on a regular basis, haha. So basically Jason isn't his problem so he doesn't really worry about him?

Alsooo, Lauren said something about Jason and Marcie being friends/more like bro&sis so I'm thinking that's where these two will get most of their interaction? Though I don't know how o_o Jason doesn't really seem like the "go out for drinks with the gang after work" type. ... Um. Would he be?

"Q" → Head Quartermaster and Lead Cybernetic Officer

In the past few years, Q Branch has seen a major revitalization, mostly due to M16 deciding it needed to update itself with the new technological world. And with that change first came William Collins, the new head Quartermaster, “Q.” A young man with a mind like a steel trap and the creator of numerous highly efficient security codes (mostly created to keep big-name companies from realizing he was hacking them), Q is a cybernetics force to be reckoned with. After all, he reckons he could do more damage with a laptop, sitting in his pajamas before his first cup of Early Grey than the agents do in the field in a year. Of course, Q does still understand, though, that the agents are an integral part of keeping England safe from harm. He just wishes that perhaps M16 hadn’t put some of the more volatile agents under his supervision, as it means he is constantly cleaning up their little messes. Though somewhere behind an extremely coded firewall of Q’s own creation is a digital copy of a now-destroyed memo requesting that Agent 009 be put on Q’s roster—dated the day he arrived at M16…
