Irish Flag Layer Creme de Menthe Bailey's Grand Marnier
Bronx Gin Sweet Vermouth Oj Dry Vermouth
Absinthe flame
Creole Cocktail 90mL rye whiskey 40mL sweet vermouth A dash of DOM Benedictine Garnish with cherry
Just made this drink. It was an experiment, but it turned out good. 1oz sweet vermouth 1oz dry vermouth 1oz cherry brandy Several dashes of one of my homemade bitters blends (orange zest, cloves, and cinnamon) Plus a dash or 2 of anise
Singapore Sling. I don't remember how to make this one at the moment.
Cherry Sidecar
1oz cherry brandy 1oz brandy 1oz Cointreau A squirt of lemon juice Shake with ice and pour into cocktail glass rimmed with sugar. Garnish with cherry.
.5oz lime juice 1oz Creme de cacao 2oz Bourbon
Catalina Margarita
Color varies, sometimes its more blue, this one is particularly green because the peach liqueur I have right now is orange.
1oz Blue Curacao 1oz Peach Liqueur 1oz Tequila 2oz Sour Mix
Blended with ice and strained into a glass rimmed with Margarita Salt. (See previous post for how to make your own Margarita Salt.)
Margarita
1oz Cointreau 1oz Tequila 2oz Sour Mix Blend with ice
Pour into cup rimmed with Margarita Salt.
I made my own Margarita Salt by blending orange and lemon zest (left to sit in toaster oven on low ‘70 Celsius’ to dehydrate) with salt plus a little sugar.
1 part raspberry liqueur 1 part creme de cacao 2 parts cream It's a great dessert drink
Buffalo’s Milk
1 oz Vodka
1.5 oz Creme de Cacao
1 oz Kahlua
1 oz Creme de Banana
2 oz milk
Blend with ice, and serve with shaved chocolate on top.
Hummingbird
Blend:
1 oz banana
1 oz strawberry
1 oz Coconut Liqueur
1 oz Creme de Banana
1 oz Rum
½ oz Kahlua
with Ice
Serve with Banana slice (makes 2 cocktail glasses or 1 cup)
- I got thirsty before I took this photo :P
Gin & Juice
Take a look at that color.
1oz Gin 1oz Triple Sec Cranberry Juice I added a few dashes of my homemade bitters blend #3 (Anise, Licorice, Fennel, and a touch of Lavender)
Its another Old Fashioned
If you like Cardamom you can try a Maple Cardamom Old Fashioned
Make Cardamom Bitters (Crush up some Cardamom and put it in vodka 100 proof or higher with a cinnamon stick or two. Let sit for about a week, shake it at least once every day).
Mix several dashes of your Cardamom bitters with some Maple Syrup (adjust for your preferred sweetness level).
Add some ice, an orange slice, and 3 shots of bourbon
