In The Incredibles Syndrome says “And when everyone’s super, no one will be.” This IS EXACTLY WHAT AI IS DOING.

AI “art” for example. It gives EVERYONE the ability to “make” “art.” And when everyone’s an “artist,” the skill and effort that REAL artists put into their work becomes worthless. If you can do it yourself for free in 3 seconds, why bother hiring someone who has perfected their craft to do it for you?

AI is, as it ever was, becoming the villain in our real lives. It is the syndrome to humanity’s Mr. Incredible.
