I mean, in some very interesting Technically Correct ways, they didn't actually die? Now, they're very much no longer alive. But the forces involved are such that they didn't get any of the usual cellular processes of death, they simply went from biology to physics in less time than it takes a signal to travel down your optic nerve.
if you go from biology to physics without dying first you don’t go to heaven the uber driver went over this already
Here’s the thing. Refusing to accept a compliment can be mildly insulting to the person you’re refusing the compliment from.
It’s like you don’t believe them or don’t respect their opinion basically.
I know, I also have self esteem so low that accepting a compliment feels physically painful but basically calling the person who’s complimenting you a liar doesn’t help anybody including yourself.
they want you to make fried rice

contrary to popular belief i think calvin's adhd is, funnily enough, medicated. he takes extended release ritalin every morning alongside his chocolate frosted sugar bombs. this is because he appreciates being more easily able to focus on his various Schemes, Projects, and Machinations while more effectively ignoring schoolwork
calvin's dad pulling up to the house and seeing the whole driveway covered in a (completed) snowman recreation of the entire terracotta army and he takes a deep breath and greets calvin's mom with "i see calvin remembered his methylphenidate today"
this app is too sad to use anymore.

Apparently African grey parrots are the latest tiktok trend and I for one hope that I have done my part here to accurately represent the cosmic horror of being trapped in your home with a small dinosaur-shaped child who speaks in your voice and will live forever.
Lately he has decided that he is the guardian of the kitchen and that guests are not allowed in it (he will chase them to bite their feet).
After sixteen years of living with Ripley I do find it pretty easy. But I've had sixteen years to get used to him throwing food around the room, splashing water everywhere, screaming at random, chewing holes in furniture, and biting me (hard!!!) when he's mad or hormonal or bored or just got too excited playing (this last one is the ONLY circumstance in which he will show remorse and say "sorry" after biting).
He's my friend. He's a little guy I love a lot. He's also a wild animal doing his best to live in a house in the city thousands of miles from his natural habitat.
as I’ve got older I’ve realised the literal worst or most life destroying thing can happen and then u wake up the next day and it’s like. Ok now what
