Gratitude Log ~ attitude of gratitude
So in the Christmas posting, I briefly mentioned that every person needs to be grateful with their life. You must have the attitude of gratitude in order to appreciate the positive aspects of your life. People who practice gratitude on a daily basis are noticeably happier, healthier, and more effective in performance. Simple actions on gratitude will literally change your life. Live with an open heart and in positive spirit with pleasurable expectations. Although it may be simple, it is not easy to practice because all sorts of distractions and negative attitudes from our life background may get in the way. But all you really need to do is intend to make a commitment to do it. Once you are committed, things will look brighter in your life because the attitude of gratitude only generates positive feelings like love, compassion, and hope. There is no way negative feelings like anger and hate will arise. Gratitude is often overlooked by many people because we get too distracted with our personal lives. We are not focused in being aware of what we love. If we change that, we will lift our spirits.
Start small. Gradually work your way up to express more gratitude in all things in your life that you love. It's going to take some patience to make it work like a habit. But trust yourself that you can do it. Such a simple task in your life that it doesn't hurt to try. Do it for yourself. In the Christmas post, there was a link that lead you to an online community to express gratitude; like a Facebook for gratitude. It really is the "Happiest Place on the Internet." Everyone is truly positive on that social network platform its unreal. It is so easy to get started and start meeting encouraging helpful people. So to help you get started, here is the LINK once again ===>>> GratitudeLog.com <<<===
"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity...Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." ~Melody Beattie
Consciously express gratitude and you will notice more peace, joy, and happiness in yourself. You will start to show signs of positivity and it will be contagious as others notice the change in you. All of a sudden, not only do you see that you are improving with yourself, but the world around you will seem brighter as well. You create the peace and happiness into your life by being grateful. Realize that the world doesn't dictate your life and happiness. YOU do. Focus on the good to feel abundance. Gratitude makes us whole.
So make it a habit. For those that want to start now to make it stick, commit to 21 days. Go big or go home! Right? Here is an article called "Gratitude Log 21 Days to More Abundance". Link: Gratitude Log 21 days to more abundance

Day 2 THANKYOU for the freedom to be ME! I have so many unique qualities. I know this world would be incomplete without my contributions. Let me be the first to give gratitude for who I am, the talents I've been blessed with and the ability to share them.
Day 3 THANKYOU for my relationships! My family, my friends and those I work with have all added to this day. What a joy to share my journey with others. I cannot imagine what it would be like to live in cave with no one else around. I'm so grateful I'm not alone in this world! Thankyou!
Day 4 THANKYOU for my mind. It's so incredible to be able to choose my thoughts. Thankyou for life being a reflection of them - even the subconscious ones I have yet to acknowledge. What a pleasure to choose what I want to concentrate on and to be able to focus on that which I want returned to me. Thankyou for the freedom of CHOICE!
Day 5 THANKYOU for my body - this vessel that houses my soul. The gift of sight allowed me to see so much as I looked at the outer glories of life! What a blessing to be able to listen to everything from the chorus of birds singing to the words of those I share life with. I could smell and taste and touch bringing ecstasy at every turn. Thankyou for all of my senses. They add intrigue and adventure to each and every day!
Day 6 THANKYOU for the earth and the streams and the skies! What glory to behold! Thankyou for the oceans and the rains as they cleanse and refresh, Thankyou for the trees and the plants that nourish our world. Thankyou for the balance I see in nature.
Day 7 THANKYOU for this place I call home. It offers not just a place to rest, but a place to express myself openly. Thankyou for sleep - a time I am free to live a thousand dreams and travel to wherever I want. Thankyou for energy and activity. Thankyou for all the moments I have to indulge in creativity and for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Day 8 THANKYOU for wealth and abundance! I have not found it in all areas of my life, but this is merely proof that there is always another step (or two or three) to take. None of us are perfect so I thank you for the people who've achieved success in the areas I want to learn about - they are truly inspiring! Thankyou too for my talents and the ability to share them where needed. Thankyou for allowing me to be of service.
Day 9 THANKYOU for what I value and believe! With time tested study, my certitude and conviction envelops me like a soft warm blanket of security. The assurance I know is thanks to YOUR guidance in making me learn from both science and religion so I fall neither into the pit of materialism, nor of superstition.
Day 10 THANKYOU for faith, without which I would be battered around like a ship without a rudder. Thankyou for trust so that I know there is a reason for everything! Thankyou for the truth I've come to realize as I look at myself and others with honesty. Thankyou for all of the differences so there is never a reason to be bored.
Day 11 I THANKYOU for my feelings! Although I know they can be as temperate as the wind, I recognize them as special and a blessing. To share and feel the connection with the people and everything I cherish is a gift of love! My feelings help me to recognize the next step possible in the enfoldment of my awareness and how I can correct or confirm my path! Thankyou!
Day 12 THANKYOU for all of the lessons life offers. With each, I get to see a broader perspective of everything. I'm learning to see the third side of each situation, rising above the natural tug of polarities! Everywhere I turn there is a chance to learn more, do mroe, and be more... Thankyou for this willingness to learn so that I don't have to stay "stuck" in that which brings me pain. Or even in that which brings me pleasure to know the difference between right and wrong.
Day 13 THANKYOU for my ability to remember treasured times! Thankyou for my imagination and willingness to see the new and exciting! Thankyou so much for guidance and helping me to understand Thy will in my silence. Thankyou for this very moment - my truest gift, it is like no other. Each changing moment allows me to flow and experience without simply repeating the static images that can imprison me.
Day 14 THANKYOU for this age of convenience! So many things that allow me the freedom to move beyond simple "survival". Thankyou for the choice of foods and the farmers that made it possible. Thankyou for every person and the occupation and talents they share. Thankyou for all the information at my fingertips and the ability to connect with anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Day 15 THANKYOU for the animals in the world. Pets depict such clear acceptance and loyalty. Thankyou for all the birds, bees, insects, and animals in the wild. They show me what minding my own business really is, taking only what they need for survival. They are good examples. I still wonder about the usefulness of mosquitoes, but alas, there must always be a degree of wonder. Thankyou for all the animals, and the wonder!
Day 16 THANKYOU for my own enthusiasm and acceptance. Thankyou for blessing me with compassion that I may walk a mile in another's shoes and understand them to be just as I am - with their own struggles, trials and tribulations. We all have to go through the experiences and lessons, but once learned comes compassion so I can empathize with other, and know they do the same for me...
Day 17 THANKYOU for the laws of the universe! To see cause and effect unfold with clarity, events connecting like invisible lines of a divine plan, brings harmony. The simplicity of the principles of life increases my appreciation and "attitude of gratitude". Flowing with the natural rhythm I am learning to have greater respect for everything - including myself. Thankyou for the clarity, simplicity, rhythm, respect and harmony.
Day 18 THANKYOU for all the beauty and joy this world offers! Everywhere I turn there is something else that is glorious and serene in it's splendor! The less rushed I become, the more time I have to "smell the roses." The more time I take, the more beauty and joy I see and feel. The more I see, the calmer I feel. Thankyou for peace.
Day 19 Thankyou for hope and the promise of visions becoming reality with focus. Thankyou for my patience and humility as I seek truth. Without patience for myself, I could not forgive...Without humility I would continue to be blinded by my ego and in constant comparison...Without focus I could not envision and feel my dreams, with their inherent ability to be actualized.
Day 20 THANKYOU for all the yesterdays, all the tomorrows, and all the todays I have to enjoy...In this moment, I thank you for the opportunity to be of thanks. With gratitude, my blessings seem to grow. As I give, allowing room for the new, I see all returned to me abundantly.
Day 21 Above all else God, thankyou for you! There are so many sparks of light emanating from you. I see you everywhere, in everyone, in everything! No matter what we call you, no matter where we are on our paths, You are there to remind us that we are all connected and that you love each and every spark! The universe is indeed "unfolding as it should." Thankyou for my part in it and the love that flows to and from me...

"Gratitude should not be just a reaction to getting what you want, but an all-the-time gratitude, the kind where you notice the little things and where you constantly look for the good, even in unpleasant situations. Start bringing gratitude to your experiences, instead of waiting for a positive experience in order to feel grateful." ~Marelisa Fábrega
