Its been in my mind of either during oakhurst or post oakhurst that V!Pyros connected with the coven and V!Abolish is just with him silently threatening V!Scott to try literally anything. He will make sure that he is protected.

”Are you sure this is a good idea?” Abolish worried too much, it was just a simple meeting. A simple meeting with his sire, his fledgling, whom also happened to be the one to drive a stake through his heart, and Drift. There was nothing to worry about, and if Abolish told the truth, Scott had been on his best behaviour the last 200 years. He was overreacting for sure.
The door to the apartment, the one they were waiting on the outside of, opened and a sceptical Shelby stood in front of them, eyeing them before stepping aside to let them in. Scott and Drift sat on the rug, a small pile of playing cards scattered on the floor.
The tension were thick like smoke, and everyone seemed a little in distress now that the traitor had arrived.
Shelby was the first to break the silence, since none of them needed air, it had been deadly quiet.
“This silence is not what this night was intended for, and now that Avid is alive and well,” the demon in question, Avid, shot up from where he was perched in the window, looking down on the small people, going about their day on the sidewalk. “I think, I can forgive you.”
The words felt comforting to hear, and their shoulders relaxed instantly, their guard slipping away. He knew the only one to really fear was si- Scott, but with Abolish here, he didn’t worry much.
The rest of the night went about as smooth as it could. The four fledglings fell into comfortable banter, played card games all night long and even share their blood bags, wanting to taste each other’s favourites. What Pyro didn’t see, was Abolish silently holding a small knife to Scott’s side throughout most of their time there. Every time Scott as much as breathed wrong around Pyro, Abolish’s head shot up, and he was reading for action.
Noone was ever gonna take Pyro away from him again.
