1: What was the first thing that got you into the fandom?

Oh man! My first meeting with the fandom was through the Portal fandom going hysterical over it, actually. Then I started seeing The Lorax stuff on my personal blog's dash as well, and the movie was released here as well, so I went with my little sisters to watch it after having heard How Bad Can I Be and had become sufficiently intrigued by Tumblr's fangirling. I was hooked pretty fast and ended up going to the movies twice more to rewatch it. 

3: Have you done any cosplaying?

Yes! I've done some closet cosplaying of the Once-ler, and I'm working on an Audrey cosplay. 

9: What is your favorite ship out of the characters in the movie?

... Audrey/Once-ler, hands down. Ted/Audrey is also on the list, but Audrey/Once-ler wins. 

14: Do you honestly like whole the movie or do you like it mostly for the Once-ler? Why else do you like it?

I love all of it! Ted is a great main character with wit and sarcasm and courage, the Once-ler is fantastic and sassy, and Audrey is open and smart and fantastic, and the Lorax is a great fuzzball of morals and environmental responsibility, and the entire storyline is wonderful and shows what greed and capitalism and stuff can do to people. I just. Augh. Feelings. 

21: Which Once-ler would you "get it aaawwwn" with?

Are we talking about the Oncie vs Greed-ler type, or the askblog type? If the former, either! I see both of them to be the same, excpet with "Greed-ler" as more spoiled and bratty. So if I had to choose between A and B there, I'd go for pre-success Once-ler. If we're talking about the askblog type of Once-ler, I think I'd go for YBP or 72-Once-ler.

Once-ler's height and some other stuff

In front of him are two (assumed) young-ish, white American women. Average height for them is about 5’5”, though there’s a shorter one in the back and they could be wearing heels— let’s play it safe and assume the tops of their heads are around 5’6”.

Oncie is at least a head taller than them. He is about seven and a half heads tall.

Therefore, (slightly less than) 6.5 Oncie heads = about 5’6”, or 66 inches.

Oncie’s head is therefore a little over ten inches. This makes him 76 inches tall, or… 6’4”.

2012 Once-ler is about six feet and four inches tall. Think about that.

BUT WAIT.

This motherfucker is goddamn PROUD of being huge, so he gets a tophat that is LITERALLY BIGGER THAN HIS HEAD.

Yeah I’d say that thing adds like a foot, and that’s not even factoring in his fancy new shoes adding half an inch or so.

I read a post somewhere that was saying how Once-ler seems quite aware of his size and is very expressive with his body, particularly his arms and legs— what with the dancing, the guitar, always manhandling the Lorax and the barbaloots, etc. Not sure where the post is, but it’s true— and he’s just as animated when angry.

He’s also decently strong: sure, it’s cartoon physics, but so far we’ve seen him stand there talking to his mom while a grown-ass man hangs off of him as if it’s nothing, chop down and drag a HUGE tree to where he needed it, hardly seeming to notice the weight of his ax (yeah, you heard that loud thunk when he dropped it on the barbaloot, it’s sold wood and metal), set up a goddamn HOUSE on his own, hold a small-pig-sized pile of orange pudginess at arm’s length as if he’s a pillow, and oh yeah, in a deleted scene he pulled his own wagon FULL OF SHIT for what was implied to be a fairly long distace.

So yeah.

Almost 7 and a half feet of that shit stomping down the stairs toward me, yelling about how he’s done nothing wrong and making huge, sweeping gestures with those (fairly strong) arms?

I’d be pretty intimidated too, Lorax.

Kudos to you for wanting to fuck with this guy at all.

A while back, you mentioned you don't feel like you belong in the fandom (or something to that effect). Why? I still want you here...

Ahh, it was mostly my self-esteem acting up a little. I do enjoy the fandom, I just feel a little.. out of place sometimes! I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, though. I had a little bit of a downward swing lately, but I still consider myself part of the fandom, so I'll probably post more again soon. :> After all, I haven't even gotten around to posting my Audrey cosplay with the wig yet~ 

(Also, I'm really really really happy that you want me here dgjfd you're one of my favourite people in this entire fandom)
