A few seconds later, the entire cafeteria went silent. Some heads looked towards Elphaba, some towards the door. Then, the speaker started playing music. Galinda caught her eye and waved excitedly, giving her two thumbs up.

Elphaba looked down at her plate and the buttered knife in her hand.

Oh god.

i’m not sure how much (if any) attention this will get, but i’ve finally decided to start writing stuff again because i am all consumed by fiyeraba right now. and this obsession has been ongoing for 12 years so we have a LOT of ground to cover.

i am currently writing a very silly cutesy oneshot/short fic about fiyero planning an over the top promposal as his way of confessing his feelings to elphaba (instead of you know, being normal and telling her).

i haven’t actually written the promposal yet- i have one short section to write before that- but here’s a little excerpt of what’s been going on so far.

“You kept it?” came his voice, soft and vulnerable. At first, she couldn’t see what he was talking about. Until he lifted up his hand.

A small, pressed and dried poppy, flat on his palm.

He looked up at her, his expression unreadable. His eyes seemed to be yearning; Elphaba was unsure what for.

“Well, it is my favourite flower after all.”

Fiyero seemed to stare at her for a minute, trying to figure out what to say next. “I didn’t think you’d care that much. Drying a flower like this takes weeks.”

“You underestimate how much the little things mean to me, Fiyero.”

if anyone wants it i don’t mind but i don’t even care if i just keep it to myself. i like writing and i miss it! also i was desperate to write an alastair/eugenia interaction lol so ofc i had to do this.

if i end up posting it it will be probably on here and in parts because wattpad has like. NO thomastair stuff and i don’t really use ao3.

but yes. i’ve got up to him entering the sanctuary (just finished the eugenia bit) and i am having funnnnn. i miss them all :(

it’s actually funny when you think that CC went on a campaign to make everyone hate Alastair and he’s easily one of the most favored characters as well as Thomas. every single fucking series, she thinks everyone will obsess over the herondales as much as she does and every single fucking series, most of us hate them with a bloody passion. I love that for us. you could never make me hate Alastair Carstairs
