When his gaze finds it, his breath catches in his throat for half a second before he shakes his head firmly, banishing the unwanted memories. It's a regular Midgardian crystal. It isn't the Power Stone.
Then he looks back up at Thor, who still has his face hidden in his hands, still trembling with tension, and realizes.

Now, a few months into the Revenger's voyage through the cosmos, an accident aboard the Asgardian refugee vessel sends them in for an emergency landing on a planet whose vices feel eerily familiar. The planet's kinship with a certain immortal despot brings back bad memories. Thor has to keep his head, protect his people, and navigate them through the complicated political world - without letting anyone on to their biggest secrets. But he's perhaps not as unaffected by past trauma as he thought, and he starts to feel that he might collapse under the pressure.
Or: Sakaar left unexpected scars and Thor's not sure he can deal with it.

Endgame isnt the first time Thor has battled his inner demons. Following the events of Tales of Asgard, Thor finds himself in a tailspin after being found Unworthy once again. Luckily, this time he has Loki to take care of him.
