I'm still a youthful wine, with many years ahead. My body a nice long glass, filled with wine to be bled. Nice long legs, slender stem. A youthful glass should be careful, so no one can shatter them. I'm soon an aged wine, with lots of life lived. My body a curved, strong glass, filled with stories to give. Nice full glass, Strong stout stem. An aged wine is powerful, so no one can shatter them.

I always long for the forbidden fruit. I always have the one wish that will never come true. I fall in love with the one, with someone they're betrothed to. And I'm left with nothing but the idea of you.

How could you be so cruel? Leading me down an endless road. Your empty promises and empty words, cut deeper than any lie you told. You string me along, and expect me to follow, and like a fool I do, despite my sorrow.

TW: 3d poem My throat still burns from the last time. But even through the pain, I don't ask myself why. To me, the answer seems clear as day, even if no one else sees it the same way. why do I long for the unknown? is it just a novelty? will I ever find love of my own, or does it just exist in dreams? I guess that I'll never know, until I take that leap. until then ill wonder restlessly, chasing the romantic mystique.

Phantom lover

My phantom lover exists behind my lids, whispers his love, then vanishes into the abyss. Deep in my mind. When the moons my only companion, he visits my restless nights. A whisper of a touch, Is the unspoken promise that i'll see him once more, when the light fades to darkness.
