Vira darted forward as Chai dropped the cups, reaching out but missing. His eyes flickered up, meeting Chai’s.

“I - I’m sorry. I can change back -” The words were cut off as Chai wrapped his arms around the program. Vira - Lucas - hesitated only a moment before hugging him back, unsure of the sensations of this new body.Still, it felt so natural to hold Chai like this. Perhaps it was in the coding for this form, the same way music was. “S-so you’re not upset? By this?”
Truth be told, Vira had forgotten all about Lucas. It hadn’t affected her much, lately at least, and Chai was always cautious to treat her like herself, not like a shadow of her former self … selves.
"I kind of forgot," he explained bashfully. "About Lucas. That he was -" He cleared his throat awkwardly. "… sorry."
"No, it's just surprising. That's all." He said gently resting a hand against the program's cheek. Just looking at the face a moment. He'd always thought this form suited this Vira better than Vira's form did. Lucas was the shy sweet one. Vira was the... well all he remembered was the flirting and her asking him on a date...
Which, amusingly enough now he realized he'd spent with her anyway. That's why she hadn't been angry. He leaned forward and lightly kissed Vira's lips. It was nice to feel Lucas' against his again but it was strange. Knowing they were, and they weren't Lucas'. His Lucas was gone but... oh it was all so confusing.
He smiled gently and reached up to run a hand through Vira's hair."It's okay, it was just a surprise... pleasant one. That's all. What do you think of this form, Vira?" He made sure to use her name, he realized it was her... not Lucas. But he was curious about her thoughts on her other form.
