Recently had a shoot around UPD with the lovely Miccah and M (I call them m&m lol). It was a well spend Wednesday morning – I barely had any decent sleep thanks to our loving and amorous neighbors who blasted religious music at four in the morning. It was tiring, and on top of it all, I had work due after lunch time – I was frazzled after walking around (we walked a lot but it was fun).
Wandering around UP felt surreal and a bit eerie since there weren't many students roaming around than usual. We took Photos at the amphitheater; it was too bad they already removed the sunflowers. During summer, especially the graduation season, UP stands chock full of bright, tall and yellow flowers – last time me and Miccah had a shoot we were lucky enough to get a glimpse of the flowers.
Working with a guy model is a first for me – I had a hard time trying to visualize everything and executing it; maybe because it was the first time for me to actually have a decent conversation with M.
We went to M’s place so I can take photos of him shaving his head – yet again this fierce obsession with hair and hair cutting. His place rested in the middle of the foliage and cicada trance. It was a tall and cute residential building with an outmoded yet striking staircase filled with plants and cats (yes, black cats gathered in one floor). It was like the perfect artists’ nook.
You can view the complete Photoset of "O W N" on my feydandelion. I hope you're all having a good mid week even though the weather is unpredictable. But I'd much prefer rains and clouds than 39 degrees outside. Have a happy rainy week everyone!
It’s been forever since we last updated! And now We are back up and running again! Wow – it’s been so long. I have been actively posting in myfeydandelion.com so I have been more confident about posting – if that makes sense.
It’s been a rainy week here in Manila. It’s a drag to go to work but that’s no problem once I am safe inside my office. The last 3 months had been a blast and I can say now, that I love my job. No matter how cliché it may sound – I actually do. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and tired but I do, really. I hope you guys are having a good week too!
I have been dreaming of posting about these magical jars ever since the year started – it’s been too long and I have no idea what made me beat around the bush so much; probably it’s all the photos I’ve been processing. Most of the photos I post don’t really need a lot of post-processing. The main thing I do really is re-size them before I post them online. But I’ve been shooting a lot of people lately (pun intended) and that’s one reason why I haven’t been able to post this. But it’s never too late!
What really inspired me to make these simple baubles is a beautiful Mess – an oasis of creative spirit and lovely crafts for all occasions. Elsie and Emma have been one of my favorite bloggers and I dream of one day getting a cute apartment and I would follow on their DIY track and have a beautiful home where I can actually have guests over. I also adore their patience with all their recipes and their craftsmanship.
I mean, I can visualize and all that but never the crafty gal. I can paint and sew and that’s about the areas I have tried so far.
Last Christmas, these little pixies saved me from hoarding little trinkets for all the lovely people I adore. Giving these away as a kind of Christmas mini present is so fun and flattering; mainly because people actually liked them. During our Annual Yumeria Christmas party, I gave all my favorite girls one Fey Dandelion love jar with letters inside. To some of my friends I did put some cheek tint and lipstick as their mini token of appreciation for putting up with a weirdo like me *cough*
So yeah – that’s my never ending outburst about these love jars and hopefully I can think of another way to disseminate my little pixies when the holiday season arrives.
We will be posting more adventures and more updates soon! Thanks for all our new followers, it really means a lot and we'll be with you again soon!
Keep close those you hold dear.
All the voices they come together as one, forming whole new sentences that don’t mean anything. Sometimes in life people are just like different voices formed into one being. Different ideas and opinions gathering as one. To create a person of diverse thoughts. The inevitable change that is to come, we do not know when as we anticipate its arrival we live our lives as different voices fill our existence.
-HibernationPanda (Dream.Alive)
This planet is our home, the forests, the creatures who live within them, the waters, the mountains and everything in-between, we are all connected. We need to start caring, we need to start being selfless.
Listen closely, the planet yearns for your undivided attention. The cries of the creatures living to let live. Change in silence, only a whisper is needed to move mountains. In the valley of the Lilies a Tiger slumbers.
Do not lose to the battle against yourself. Do your part actively. This fight is yours to win. We are not going against nature, we go against our selfish desires. Do not conform to what is thought to be ideal. No matter how much each Lily resembles the other, they are all different.
Don’t let yourself be the reason of the deterioration of the home we all worked so hard to create.
Discover the wonders the world has to offer. Settling for less, are you truly living? Never forget we are all connected. Hold dear those you keep close. Now, let us all go on an adventure.
I finally took the Manila walk challenge by myself. It was a Sunday morning, there were lots of people going out for a jog, having picnics and just having a good family time under the sun. I don't usually come here, actually it's been three times since I went to Rizal Park, and it's all because I had to take photos. Different people from different walks of life come here to relax to work to sell things or to just observe so it's great to find good people to photograph.
I think I ran out of sunblock because of this walk hehe ;)
These flowers are like Hydrangeas, very pretty. Nico would have loved these for sure.
I think this manong had a very long and tiring night.
Baby sun bathing and playing in the sun while his parents were watching from afar. They didn't mind that I took a couple of shots ;) Nice people.
Sunday ground!
This mum enjoying the morning with her kids. She was nice enough to let me take her photo but I think she got a bit shy ;)
The pup says "no more walks mummy". This is so cute!
Lots and LOTS of couples around Luneta. This is a cute setup for a double date, don't you think?
This photograph reminds me of myself. Since I enjoy most places alone; but of course being with friends is really enjoyable too!
Even though it was so sunny and bright out, this manong really slept like a rock.
This lady was using the water bottle as a drumstick, and she was hitting the bench in-tune with the music played on the public stereo. I wonder if she has any family to go home to? :(
We don't see the significance of the most common things we see or encounter every day. But what if they are gone? Or, what if they changed? This is my common encounter with a coconut vendor. The long and hard-earned years written on his face, the heat of the sun in his weathered hands – just watching him and appreciating everything is so nice. It made me realize that I want to photograph people on their raw state – who they really are, so you don't just capture the moment, you capture the soul.
Feeling nature-y and missing the cool weather – Nico and I just went out and decided to immerse ourselves on the readily-available slab of “nature” we can get our hands on. Yes, It was the first time that we went to QMC (Quezon City Memorial Center). It was impulsive and surprisingly FUN.
We didn’t have a plan for the day, all we wanted to do is have a mini-shoot and we ended up doing so much more. I had my sister tag along and the three of us walked around, took pictures of flowers, and each other lol. We rented out bicycles and rode around in circles (get it? Circles lol) until our butts got tired.
Anyway, the weirdest thing I realized when we were taking a break was that usually people would avoid going to this place, I mean, places similar to it. Here in the Philippines only the people from the more rural areas are the ones who actually visit the parks and the play grounds, most of us from the urban areas are all used to going to malls to hang out, dine, shop, relax – but when we were walking under the sun, with the crisp wind, it all felt so nostalgic. Those days when we would go to the far off north or south of the region for summer vacation, swim in the rivers and ride bicycles all day without a care, those days were really missed and It felt good being there, in that man-made forest in the middle of the busy city. Walking and sweating actually felt good, it was refreshing – better than being cooped up inside the house and cultivating all those calories that are not really good for you, I should really go out more and walk more. I know my thoughts are not really organized here, but I just have one point, having a break is good. A break from Social media, a break from my PC, a break from my usual routines, a break from everything and just go run outside. I think it would be better if I also took my sketchpad outside and not just my camera.
Our blogging is not really a “big” hit yet, four followers may not be that much of a considerable number but at the very least we are doing what we like, and it’s like a shared diary, a shared photograph with people you enjoy being with, people who share the same passion with. It's not always about the numbers. :)
This man sang for us, he was really nice. I love taking photographs of strangers.
Nico: "He has a really good voice! Honestly! He just had to work on his pronunciation of some of the words. His singing of "Colors of the Wind" was just wonderful!"
The outdoor gym was really cool, it's a good thing we came on a Tuesday or else there would be so many people.
I am having so much fun at my new job that it’s been really hard to squeeze in time to produce more art – I don’t really want to force the creative juices out and make something half-baked. That’s the least thing I want, but this day made a difference and really refreshed me. I think it was the same thing for all of us, me Nico and my sister Dianne, we didn’t really retouch our make-up when we were sweaty from all the cycling and walking, it was such a good day those things were the least of our worries.
A candid photo of Dianne. She'll be graduating from High School in two months! Hooray!
Nico:"Congratulations!"
Kids playing after their morning school, everyone was just such darlings ~
After an hour of rolling and cycling around we walked towards The New Kamameshi House. It’s a Japanese restaurant that’s been here forever, but it was the first time that I ever had a meal there. The place was really soothing and relaxing, very authentic and the food was terrific, no it was wonderful. Probably one of the best recommended yet underrated restaurants around the metro.
Nico:"I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE TORI KAMAMESHI! and of course the OYAKODON! OH THE OYAKODON~" (as you can see below)
After that long and sweaty day, we went to Matalino Street in Teachers’ Village Starbucks for some coffee. Why go all the way to Matalino for coffee? BEST STARBUCKS BRANCH EVER. Best interior so far from all the other branches we've been at.
It was too bad Alyss couldn't come with us, it’s been so long since we were last complete, but don’t worry, she’ll be in our posts soon!
Hi! Nico here~
If you live around Quezon City, I highly recommend you go to QMC, especially on a weekday (if you don't like crowds like me) although most of the attractions are not available, it is still relaxing to stroll around and there are still other activities you could do like biking! Bike rentals cost 80php-100php for 1 hour!
All photos are by Ginger! She is such a wonderful photographer, is she not! Please look forward to my Vlog in the next post~ :)
Today was a very wonderful day. It was very tiring but it was fun and very fulfilling!
We hope you all had a wonderful day and remember to smile, think of all the positive things that has happened, even the most simplest moments, and of course, KEEP LIVING!
A few days ago I did a photo shoot with the Cover Groups called A’s (apparently pronounced as ACE). It was Saturday morning and after reconvening and doing the make up at my place we all headed to Kiaroskuro House of Art and Photography. It’s new but not that new – it’s a very affordable photo studio along Maginhawa street – the food haven in Teachers’ Village. It was six of us; me, Jheng, Gail, Jem, Athena and her boyfriend Zhell. It was such a fun shoot – we have been planning it for months and months and we’re just happy to finally have it. I’m guessing more shoots will come in the future especially whenever they have a new performance or a new costume to showcase. Unfortunately my girls Nico and Alyss weren’t able to join that day due to packed schedules but that alright~
Our theme was originally Classic Black plus another set of costume from their previous performance. It was all zebra-ish and really complicated couture. It was great I just wished we had more time to really enjoy the company plus the shutter. We planned it to be three sets of costumes but we ran out of time – I guess since most of us were not able to wake up earlier in the morning lol
After the shoot we went around Teachers’ Village to look for a place for lunch. We hovered over the Starbucks and man, Starbucks Matalino is like on the top of the best coffee shoppe interiors list. I know it was fairly new since I’m often around; it was such a cool place. Zhell and Athena, the sweet couple that they are brought sandwiches for everyone – ham and cheese and Nutella yum! It was the first time in many many months (I think over a year) that we got together again. There was a lot of catching up and I think we lasted up about a couple of hours just talking nonstop. It was really fun getting back together with Jheng and Athena.
After coffee we went and walked arounfd to find a Korean Restaurant to have lunch. Well isn’t that nice, coffee first and then lunch? Who needs order in their life? Lol But seriously we should have had lunch first before coffee, but what the heck it’s okay since it was such a good day. I suggested we go to “Bulgogi Burger” which was the huge Korean resto next to Nice Mart with a big cute comic cow outside. Zhell then arugued it wasn’t called Bulgogi Burger but Bulgogi Brothers. I was a newb with the Korean resto thingy since I normally just go and eat at Japanese restaurants or anything except Korean. I dared them to suggest me the best they know and maybe I’ll be convinced with loving spicy food. Surprisingly it was neither Bulgogi Burger or Brothers but “Bulgogi Garden” lol but it was really good.
And they had these big aluminum elephant trunks over the smoke-less stoves which was really cool! I ordered the Hot Stone Bibimbap (is this how you spell it?) since they said it was the “safest” to order. I made Bibimbap myself but it was Nothing near this one. It was so good! I’ve been seeing this resto for years and I haven’t tried it and I’m glad I finally did. It was a bit spicy but I loved it! They have lots of complimentary stuff too. Kimchi, Chinese cabbage, sweet potato, soup, seaweed with sesame seed and oranges – very very good and sweet oranges; it was definitely a good choice for lunch. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more posts of me eating there lol maybe with different sets of people XD
Hi! Nico here, I would just like to share with you, one of my many hobbies, cosplay!
Love Live! cosplay group with Tonari no Tsuns. Photo by Kei Villanueva
I've started this wonderful hobby back in 2005, my bestfriend and I saw this poster at our Highschool and since we loved anime and games we got interested and decided to join!
Cosplay is a great way to express your creativity.
May it be in craftsmanship or performances or even character portrayal.
It's also a great way to meet new people and friends!

I used to have my costumes made. But I'm now trying my hand at making them by myself. I do get help from my friends when I can't get something right. It doesn't matter if you get your costumes made but it's always a plus if you make it on your own. (For your own fulfillment)

Cosplay portrayal is important.
Dressing up as your chosen character and walking around, sure, anybody can do that. But, being in character and posing for a photo (or video) that can be difficult! You don't have to be in character all the time though, there are certain times when it calls for it (like going on stage or as stated above, posing for photos or videos). When you're with your friends, go ahead and be out of character and have fun!

Cosplay is a costly hobby.
Let me break it down for you.
Purchasing the fabric and other materials needed.
Tailoring (if you make your own costumes, then, good for you!)
Travel expenses to get (what was said above) done.
Not to mention the time and effort we pour into this hobby. Other people would not understand at all. But, see, cosplay is just like any other hobby. Fishing, golf, collecting books, etc. are costly, requires time and effort. So, why do we do this? self-fulfillment. The joy we get out of portraying the character we've chosen. Yes, just like you buying that perfect lure to catch that perfect fish, you purchasing that expensive, hard-bound book so you can lose yourself into your favorite book. For what? Joy and self-fulfillment. Yes.
I will end this post here.
I will write about this wonderful hobby again.
See you!
Au revoir.
Hey there everyone, Ginger here! Two weeks since our launch and so far, so good; building an audience is hard work, you have to be consistent and because we have millions and millions of other bloggers out there, it’s a tough competition. Well it's not like we're competing against anyone. What's good to know is that what the three of us have in common is that despite knowing it’s a tough road to venture into, we know we can produce something unique; we just have to put time, effort and perseverance on it.
A little while ago I made a special piece saying Thank you to 300 Likes in the Fey Dandelion Facebook page; I know it’s not a lot compared to all those good artists out there or any other pages with thousands of likes, but still, it means a lot to me. And I think it’s better to take it all in slowly and surely. I was on art hiatus for several months and when I did a comeback again, things came up and caused a hiatus once again; so yeah – I think I need to get rid of that habit and make sure everything will be consistent and smooth.
It’s also 2 weeks before my birthday (yay!) So, I’m sending out some prints to those people who commissioned me in the past to say thank you. It’s good to know that everyday some new stranger would message you and ask for a print or a sketch. I cannot consider going pro yet – but for now, I will take this time as an opportunity to build up my portfolio, and learn more and more. Of course this blog would be one of my priorities; I know this space would be a good place to learn and unlearn.
Going pro would mean I would have to spend most of my time, if not all of it, drawing, painting, colouring, preparing prints, and looking at other exhibits to widen my horizons and experience; for now I still don’t feel like I could take everything I have and throw it all away for a steady (if it’s ever steady) career as an Illustrator.
Now that I have a new job (that is full time btw) I'll take the opportunity to build up my portfolio and work on TriEuphoria on a first priority basis. I want to really venture into blogging and not make any excuses anymore. Just do it; I know cliché much but I really am trying this new thing wherein excuses will go down the bin.
It was a bittersweet experience to end 2013 – there were a lot of up’s and down’s but the best thing to do is to condition your mind, and be thankful for the experiences. Move on and start anew because what’s important is that you learned a lot! There were a lot of events in 2013 that I’m sure some of us don’t want to remember, but hey, it’s all behind us now and I can smell 2014 to be a very rewarding year for us – and since we’re finally getting into blogging I’m very excited for all our activities coming ahead. Here is my January photo diary to brighten up your weekends!
It's a New Year once again! 2013 went by so fast; a lot has happened but it feels as if it was just a few days or weeks ago. Today is a good day to start. Not only start fresh but start, FINALLY. I have been planning this for so long, WE have been planning this for so long, and now we are finally doing it!
Hey guys! Ginger here, and this is my very first blog entry as a blogger at TriEuphoria. Yes, you heard that right. This is the much-awaited debut of our blog! Let me just talk about our name; why TriEuphoria? Just so you know there will be three people in this blog. Yes, three. Me, Nico and Alyss. We've always wanted to blog our hearts out, and this year, we're stepping into it and focusing more on this life-time project that we have. On this blog we will be talking about Art, Lifestyle, Food? Yes to food! DIY projects and other crafts and all around adventures. I'm Ginger and I am an Illustrator and Photographer working under the pseudonym F E Y D A N D E L I O N (https://www.facebook.com/FeyDandelion.Art). If you have been following my works for the past year, thank you. TriEuphoria will be the newest haven for my artworks.
I will be discussing more about the working process in detail and all the things that come before a certain piece is done. Cooking is also one of the things I enjoy doing when I'm not hung up on a book or painting; so I'll be sharing more of my personal recipes here. It's a bit like a scrapbook, a little of this and that, a little of the things you like and the things you enjoy doing and the people you spend time with.
All I want to do is to share to everyone a dash of creativity and beauty, and let people know that you can stop, think, look and enjoy the little things around you. You don't have to spend a lot of money to be surrounded by beautiful things. When you think beautiful, everything else would be; and it would really make a change in your everyday.
This would be a place for our thoughts and our dreams; the things we make and the things we hope to make so we can share it with you guys. It's a big leap, and blogging will be a lot of work but I know it would all go well. I hope you guys would stick around but for now, have a Happy Happy New Year!!!
This is Alyss and I'm a student of Multimedia Arts in MAPUA. I'm probably the youngest of the three; but I don't really think that matters right? I enjoy art, photography and just like Nico I also do a little bit of cosplay but for now I'm focusing more on my art studies. Blogging has always been on my bucket list but I never found the time and the motivation to start it but thanks to Ginger and Nico we finally got a headstart. I hope you'll stay with us as we venture more into dreamland, art and Euphoria!
Hello~ I'm Nico, I'm a panda. I love nature and someday I'll be a part of it. I'm a bit awkward when you meet me for the first time, so I apologize in advance. I become really wacky and or hyper once we become close, so don't be surprised if I start doing the "crab dance". I'm also an artist but I'm more into the traditional art like painting, recently though I became interested in crafting trinkets and DIY's. I'm very much into cosplay and a part of the group 隣のツンス | Tonari no Tsuns under the name Hibernation Panda;

I make my own costumes when I have spare time. If you want to see some of my paintings, artworks and crafts you can follow me on IG: instagram.com/hiberpanda
I like things that other people deem weird or peculiar, I also like reading books, watching movies (especially Studio Ghibli, horror and movies that have a curious feel to it, I love music! I can never paint or do anything crafty without it.
Stay tuned for my future posts about my art, cosplay, music, movies, books and other things I find interesting.
I want to change the world, someday I will write and I hope people would read it and I hope the words would touch their souls.
That's it for me, watch out for more of our posts in the future!
