22. Female automotive engineering with motorsport student. I like cars. Lots. I like to draw lots too but I'm really bad with doing that and end up not drawing much at all. I'm quite creative in general really. I like baking stuff, I usually eat what I bake all by myself because I'm living the high (single) life. Then I cry and complain about being fat. I appreciate a beautiful view. I'm a bit introverted and shy. Don't judge me for that. I appreciate the silence that comes with a good book or a pencil and paper. I'm also super sassy and have a really random sense of humor. Don't judge me for it. So pissed off at the people calling out the McLaren.  The hardest thing to do is make a car reliable, especially with a new powertrain. I can’t express how hard it is to do that - dealing with engine stresses, thermal expansion, frictions, cooling, sealing etc, and it’s not just the engine, its things like engine vibrations and the heat of the engine affecting other components in the car. There are so many things that can go wrong, especially when you don’t know the engine that well. Testing the engine can only replicate so much but McLaren and Honda seem to have put their development on making sure the engine can cope with the race distance and it’s awesome to see they achieved that with JB’s car.

Now McLaren need to develop. They have the money and facilities so no doubt they will do this. They have a race worth of data which is more than they've had before and I have no doubt they will make developments from now on. They have the reliability, they can focus on refining that and making the car quicker.

It’s really hard to engineer a car. Some people need to take their head out their arses and consider that. There will be 100s of people in Woking smiling like Daniel Ricciardo just because their car finished and no one has a right to shoot that down.
