I got back into this series recently and holy shit it got a hundred times more depressing since I last saw it. For those unfamiliar look up Aceposting on Youtube.

This took a little while to get the effect that I wanted but ended up looking about how I was imagining. If I weren't otherwise swamped I would have been a little cleaner about my compositing.

Had a dream they released the new jet lag season and it was entirely on canal boats and they brought back the drunk challenge so Ben got so drunk he fell off the boat, and then one of the little yellow infocards came up and all it said was "Oh dear."

Okay so I had another jet lag dream the following night and they were doing another Battle 4 America season, this time starting in Denver, and the challenge Ben and Adam had to do was "scowl at peanut butter for five minutes"

We have a treasury department, a law enforcement department, a trade department, a science department, a Depths department, a sky department, a monster department, and a land department. Any requests to build things, such as a new town, canal, or research station, should go through us, as to guarantee that it follows Hyrulean laws. We have a large budget for funding, so many scientific endeavors can be funded by the Parliament. Any land disputes should be reported immediately, as to resolve them as peacefully as possible.

Another update on the bird drama in my neighborhood

The starlings have now snuck past Robin Road and are mimicking black-capped chickadees, seemingly in an attempt to blend in. The local chickadees are pissed.

So the war I mentioned last week between the robins and the starlings concluded over the weekend. The robins were victorious, and kicked the starlings out of the neighborhood. Or did they? Because I recently detected a small group of starlings on the north side of Robin Road—definite robin territory. The plot thickens...

In other news, a visiting glaucous-winged gull sat atop the same telephone pole for at least half an hour.

The robins and the starlings in my neighborhood have been at war for the past couple of days. Like, genuinely at war. Flocks of like fifty or sixty robins line the trees on one side of the street and the starlings match their numbers on the other side, and they scream at each other all day. I haven't seen them get physical yet but there has been close calls. Its gotten to the point the smaller birds are flocking up because they feel threatened as well. Though, there was this one goldfinch by herself just trying to take a bath. If there are any developments I will update.
