Pray tell, what is the point in maintaining a job (assuming the job is something you don't want to be doing in the first place) where you don't even have enough time to enjoy the fruits of your own labor?
Thus Spoke Timothustra
While we may seem small and insignificant compared to the rest of the wide Universe, that's only in terms of physical mass, how many subatomic billiard balls our corporeal forms are comprised of. That seems like a silly means of defining significance. However, if we think in terms of Information density, we are the absolute largest and most significant things that we know of, being the most syntropic entity in the known Universe. Sure, Betelgeuse is pretty big, but when has it ever uploaded an idea into matter? Wrote a book? Solve a mystery? Invent a technology? Ponder the secrets of the Universe? Not to my knowledge.
Thus Spoke Timothustra
If Reality is comprised entirely out of Information, the only difference between a physical object and an idea is merely a degree of specificity. In other words, objects are just super-specific ideas, and ideas super-generic objects.
Thus Spoke Timothustra
That makes our physical bodies the "voice” of our genes. How’s that for a mind-blowingly weird concept?
I'm convinced that human civilization is really just some stupid LARP that started thousands of years ago and just never stopped, to the point where its players have forgotten they're just playing a game, and a pretty shitty one at that.
Thus Spoke Timothustra
Perhaps Life doesn't HAVE Meaning, as if it were something external to it, but rather that Life IS Meaning.
Thus Spoke Timothustra
You know you're living a lie when you're offended by the Truth.
