Time Saving Tips for the Procrastinator in You!
These tips are guaranteed to help make you more productive and get the best out of your day-
Batching:
Phone calls: Put your personal phone on silent with no vibration or off all together. You can then return your calls and texts in batches. Phones are one of the biggest distractions we have to date, it’s definitely time to take back some control!
Facebook: Here’s a novel little thing - an app that kills your newsfeed. You can visit your Facebook when you need to but again do it in batches throughout the day. We recommend 3 times but of course everyone has different circumstances.
Emails – 3 times a day and never in the morning. The same batch control method applies.
Whatsapp: – If you hide your last seen status on WhatsApp, it will dramatically reduce the amount of time you spend on it. This will then get you the following results
· People will not ping you just because you were online 2-3 minutes back.
· You won’t unnecessarily check the last seen status of your friends every now and then so that you can ping and chat with them.
Headphones: If you keep headphones on people are less likely to disturb you. We recommend listening to positive affirmations. They are all over YouTube. They use binaural tones to enhance your brain’s performance whilst cleaning out your subconscious of all the negativity you hear day in and day out. This is a remarkable and effective thing to do, after 30 mins a day for a week you are very likely to have achieved a much more effective brain power and positive approach to life.
Rosemary: Get a rosemary plant and sniff it! Sounds crazy but science has now proven that sniffing rosemary does indeed improve your memory. In some cases as much as 75% some are claiming! The jury is still out on such a high percentage but it does have an effect similar to medicines that help dementia. You could always buy rosemary oil and burn the office in the workplace or home but make sure that it is essence of rosemary oil and nothing else.
Decalcification of Pineal Gland: Removing sodium fluoride from your life will increase brain function and creativity. It was initially used as a Nazi eugenic to make the captured more docile. Fluoride will absorb through gums and mouth so you need to detox out that stuff! You want to be sharp as a tack not docile! Worried about your teeth rotting? Don’t be, it’s been proven for some time now that it doesn’t work in the way we were taught anyway! Worried that all the best toothpastes have them? Brush them with baking soda as well, that’ll brighten things up!
Nutrients: Whilst a healthy diet will always make you perform better some people find it hard to follow. We recommend this handy little spray. It’s a super effective supplement that will save you time thinking about what you can eat that is healthy. We do not recommend this in place of a balanced vitamin enriched diet of course!
H2o: You’ve heard it all before, drinking water will improve your performance so make it part of your life. Not a fan of water try this to add a little natural flavour. No nasty fake sugars needed and as we care about your well being, expect the bottle to be BPA free as standard.
NO! : Just saying no to people is not a negative thing to do. You simply say it calmly and decisively to get the desired effect. People will only respect you for this as you are not being rude in anyway when you genuinely do not have the time to prioritise someone else over yourself. If they don’t like you for it then who cares? Their opinion of you cannot be changed by you but more so by time. Who doesn’t like you today may well like you in the future and vice versa. Life is too short to worry about such things so focus on what needs to be done and don’t look back!
HELP! : Some people think asking for help is weak or it affects their status of pride in some way. A productive person utilises what they have. People are indeed resources so don’t make pride an issue and get resourceful!
Worry: If you’re creating something that no one else has and don’t feel a little ashamed about it then you’re probably on the wrong track but this can be used productively when not obsessed about as you tie up all the loose ends. Still, worry comes in many forms from money to relationships. Your worries will avert your attention and in some cases take control of you. It’s time to look at them in a different way –
‘Worry is the repeated rehearsal of something negative played out that may or may not even happen’ Sounds daft now doesn’t it?
The 5 Minute Rule: This is nothing new but have this as a mind-set ‘Anything that can be done in 5 minutes, do it now!’
Meditation: Meditation is time consuming of course but the benefits far outweigh that. A clearer mind will give you a whole new access to creativity that you wouldn’t have without it. Your performance levels will go through the roof including concentration, memory and IQ with stress and other negative thought patterns now on the decrease. You’ll live longer too and after enough practice it feels wonderful. A new state of bliss arises as you have instead of rushing to get things done, slowed it all down and prioritised with clarity and calmness. To start this journey try little 15 minute guided ones on you tube. Anything on mindfulness or body scan are a good place to start. Check the reviews and see what resonates with you.
I hope you have enjoyed this slightly unorthodox blog on procrastinating in the modern day. Thank you for reading.

7 Time Saving Life Hacks for Parents
These cheeky little monkeys need your time but not every minute! Here is 7 tips to help you find a little extra freedom that benefits everyone!
(Photo used with thanks to Duncan C. & Sharon S.)
1. Bubble blowing for kids
Don’t waste time going the shop and save a little money by using either a straw or kitchen roll tube to blow down. Make a quick mix of washing up liquid with water and dip it in.
2. Crayon on Walls
Removing crayon from any surface is easy! Simply spray with WD-40.
3. Cleaning
A nice simple game to keep the little one busy with obvious benefits!
4. Lost and Found
Most children will go missing at some point. This is not only a time saver but is top notch parenting at its best.
5. Cook for an Army
Whenever possible, cook a meal with at least double in mind. Freeze half for a later date. Obvious? Yes, do many of us do it? No.
6. Clothing
Prep the outfits as you fold them. This will save time considering and looking for options.
7. Getting Ready
Capitalise on your kids’ competitive nature by making getting ready a contest. Set a timer to see who can get dressed first. Race your kids to the bathroom once they get out of bed. Fun, simple and effective.
