Oh yeah. I'm so hyped.

Have I already said how much I LOVE MELASCULA'S DESIGN. And Gloxinia looks BEAUTIFUL OMG. OMG

Is there a reason for the butterfly on his face? Also I love his wings and his multiple eyes. I headcannon he got these eyes after he got his commandment because of the dark magic he had to bear.

And if that's not the reason (which, likely is not lol) I'd love to hear about it. Was it a design choice based on the mimicry that a few species of butterflies have?

Also, question for Drole tho: Why is Gloxinia afraid of cows?

@mitsubaz got me inspired to make a quick sketch of Elizabeth's clothes in my rewritten AU of 7ds. These were originally supposed to be a study of the art style, but I got lazy.

About some of them and why exactly they are the way they are:

First of: Why the eye patch?

Basically, she always covered her different eye with her bangs, because it was considered improper to use an eye patch because she was a princess and a public royal figure. Once she decided to run away to search for the Sins, she covered it up properly, but kept the bangs in place out of habit. Her eating is being kept tucked away in her dress in a sort of "necklace"

The runaway princess dress: I honestly don't know how Elizabeth in the Manga had time to find and put on that bodysuit she was wearing, did she just have it laying in her closet all along? Did she stop to change into it? It wouldn't make sense since it's told to us that she wandered nonstop for days on end.

In my au, she ran away with her lightest dress, leaving it torn and crumpled from the armor, using its adorns for other purposes until she collapsed on the Boar Hat's tavern.

Goddess clothes: Bells are a big part in goddess clothing. It's something that announces their arrival to humans before they're seen. The clothes themselves are kept simple and flowy.

Different bells mean different angels: common angels usually use those jingle bells, the ones present on her fake halo. Meanwhile, the bells she uses at the end of her hairdo means she's a high ranking angel.

What does a high ranking angel mean? It means an angel gained importance in the hierarchy of the Goddesses clan by gaining followers.

The line or Archangels however doesn't wear bells, just pure aura announcing their presence.

The little cloth around her neck is a reference to the tie she wears on her og desing.

The bracelet she has is something worn by the goddess to express affection and commitment. Kinda like a ring. Angels like rings because it reminds them of halos, which they only obtain (fake ones) when they climb up the hierarchy. Only the archangels have real halos, symbolizing their power.

The bracelet worn by an angel is usually adorned with the angel's and their loved ones feathers. In Elizabeth's case, there is only her feather on her bracelet, and that is because Meliodas doesn't have feathers, so she wears a strand of his hair on it as a substitute.

I think about my au a lot, like, a lot lot.

Happy Easter everyone!

Since it's easter, here's the type of chocolate I think each of the Sins would like:

Meliodas: He eats whatever chocolate he gets, but he likes semi-sweet chocolate best or chocolate liquor candy.

Diane: Similarly to Meliodas, she'll eat whatever, she truly likes chocolate of any kind.

Ban: anything containing alcohol, whether it's liquor candy, or liquor-filled dragees.

King: He likes chocolate with fruit, like raisins, strawberries, raspberries, passionfruit, and coconut. But about the chocolate itself, he prefers regular milk chocolate.

Gowther: Tries a bit of everything, doesn't really care about any. He just tries to understand why people like them without taking time to actually see if he enjoys it himself.

Merlin: Bitter chocolate, those that are so bitter it makes you scrunch up your face. She loves it.

Escanor: Semi-sweet chocolate, but on the sweeter side, reminds him of Merlin in some way.

Elizabeth: She likes those expensive chocolates. Those handmade ones that IF you taste it you can feel the money leaving your bank account just from knowing you're eating it. Onto chocolate itself, she likes milk chocolate, or cherry truffles.

A ghostly reunion: Elaine, Helbram- Helbram- meets with Elaine in the Necropolis when he dies.

Business Success!: Ban, Escanor- Them running a tavern together, absolute profit.

King shenanigans: Diane, Elaine, Helbram, Gerhard- all sharing funny stories about King.

Fairy King #101: Gloxinia, Dahlia, King- Gloxinia shares his knowledge on how to be a fairy king.

Family BBQ: Zaratras, Dreyfus, Griamore, Gillthunder- a nice day of a family BBQ.

Yes, I got too lazy to draw Ban, so he went to grab more beer instead.

A drunk knights' confession: Guila, Helbram, Jericho- Helbram spills his secrets in a drunken night after work with the Holy Knights.

Imitation: Gloxinia, Drole, Zeldris- Gloxinia imitates Zeldris as a mockery to make Drole laugh, neither realizing Zeldris is right there.

Not the first one: King, Gloxinia- Gloxinia explains that Harlequin was not the first Fairy King to fall for a giant.

The new generation: Pelio, Zeal- Both playing together.

Mascot meetup: Hawk, Oslow, that fuckass parrot I don't remember the name.

Hair care day: Melascula, Gloxinia.

Lonely company: Elaine, Gerhard- Gerhard keeps Elaine company for 700 years, to the best she can.

A taste of your own... uniform?: Meliodas, Elizabeth, Diane, Merlin- The girls finally make Meliodas go a day wearing their tavern uniform to convince him to change it.

"You're the son of Meliodas!": Cain, Tristan- Old man Cain finally meets the actual son of Meliodas.

Old friend, farewell: Meliodas, Elizabeth, Cain- Elizabeth and Meliodas say their final goodbye to Cain as he goes to the Necropolis.

#H8humans: Helbram, Gloxinia- Both fairies share their horrible stories with humans in the Necropolis.

OMG MELIODAS AND ELIZABETH TRAINING WITH SWORDS TOGETHER.

God I've YEARNED for this in the anime, so much. I would say "it's not a joke at this point" but it was never a joke to me

And I love how I can see different handwritings for each Merlin, it's such a nice little detail

Also I find it SO CUTE how Diane is carrying Escanor and King AWW. King looks so jolly.

I completely forgot to ask when you posted Diane's design, but how did she lose an arm? Do you plan on showing that later? Or was she born without that arm??

Double also, the posing to all of these drawings is really pretty. Like, the motion is so fluid and I can look and immediately read what everyone is doing. Real nice real good, keep it up!

i set out to make Diane look more like a warrior whilst also keeping her feminine energy? Shes just a diva idk

And Elizabeth!!! She stays in a suit of armour whenever she goes outside, since she doesnt want to be recognised as the missing princess of the country. Lowk just made her 200% more badass because my girl deserves it.

ELIZABETH AND DIANE FINALLY OMG I'VE BEEN WAITING

I headcannon your Elizabeth keeps a bunch of small trinkets or hard candy in her multiple hidden pockets and gives out to others when she thinks they're sad.

Also, YES. ELIZABETH DESERVES A SWORD.

Makes me kinda upset in the anime/manga that we never get to see her using one. I think it'd be so cool once she got her memories back and recalled all of her time as Liz (aka, a knight) and used these skills to her advantage at some point. Like, I get she's a pacifist through and through, but using a sword doesn't exactly mean she can't fight at all.

But I LOVE her tavern outfit, in the anime it was HORRIBLE🗣️

And Diane's rock arms??#?$!! Wow??#?!?!

Did you know (and I'm guessing you probably did lol) I'm one of her concepts she was supposed to have an arm made of metal (copper, if I'm not mistaken but I'm not 100% sure too)
