[She just smiled as he considered his choice; she was in no rush and he should get exactly what he wanted. As he asked if they did rainbow, Sara saw a little boy walking past them with just that. She tapped his arm and pointed] I t-think they do. You’re in l-luck.

[ Christopher turned as he felt Sara tap his arm. When seeing the boy something manic glinted in his eyes. His head snapped back to the lady and placing two hands on the table he said: ] I'll have two of those...and a lollypop.

[Crowds were not typically Sara’s thing, but she’d been told by just about everyone that the Harvest festival was not something you wanted to miss. Plus, Christopher was clearly having the time of his life and though she was having to jog to keep up with him the look on his face was worth it. She smiled up at him, catching up after weaving her way through a group of people at the next stall (people moved out of Christopher’s way, they didn’t usually see her)] I see them. W-which one are you going to t-try?

Oh, I dunno...I...erm...there's pink but that's boring; blue, green, yellow...Merlin, so many...[ his eyes frantically scan every hue before he finally comes to a decision. He gets the attention of the woman behind the stall and says sternly: ] Do you do rainbow?

[ takes a weary sigh. He was already getting grey hairs from this kid ] Look, I had no idea what your intent was when you pulled out that wand. I only went with my instinct which was to prevent harm. Who knows, you could've been a homicidal maniac - better safe than sorry.

Harvest Festival | Sara & Christopher

[ Watching Christopher in a carnival was like witnessing a kid in a sweet shop. He was too busy trying to visit all the stalls at once to feel too sorry for Sara who was probably having to run to keep up with his zig-zags. He continued to whizz around before halting at the stall of candy floss (or cotton candy for all you non-British). His head swivelled towards his smaller friend, breathless with excitement ] Look Sara! Look at all the colours!

I'm not trying to be a father [ yeah right ] I'm trying to protect the muggle community as much as anything. Do you know how much chaos you'd create if I had just let you go? [ averts his eyes upwards as he contemplated his answer ] Nah, you're just special. And It does become my business when I get thrown into court as a witness.

[ raises an eyebrow at the attempted insult ] Gigantor? Is that the best you can do? I may not care for you personally because you're right, I don't know you, but I don't like seeing people who's lives haven't even begun, ruining their future because they got a little angry. Don't stoop to his level.

Look, I know how strict the rules are - I’m muggleborn, and I get all of it. But no one else was on the street and even if something happened - [she looks behind her before letting out an agitated sigh] They left.

Yeah, well, I'm muggleborn too but unfortunately it's not a valid excuse for the courtroom. [ sighs heavily, realising that the men had indeed disappeared from sight ] The girl's still there. We can at least see if she's okay. She looks pretty shaken...

Oh, well, um…probably the food, the people, I mean, business was booming for me. I was fixing things left and right for a sickle or two. Don’t get regular customers like that at Dervish and Banges.

[ Christopher was smart enough to know that getting in the way of a redhead in a rage would be a foolish move, but then he was also smart enough to know that letting her go would most likely end him in court as a witness ] Honestly, you can throttle their asses just...not with your wand, alright?

[ almost laughs because the thought of him having a son was pretty much the greatest joke ever ] Oh, no, no. He's Jamie, my friends son. Which makes me losing him even worse...I think help would be much appreciated.
