It's been a minute since I've posted on here. I've been wanting to get back into the swing of things with posting frequently, just so I have this blog filled with updates and photos to look back on in the future. First off, I changed my URL from lovinglittleliam --> tinytaterr (since we do live in Idaho 😉) For a small update, Liam has been seeing an occupational therapist twice a week for a little over two months now. There have been drastic changes in his mood and he doesn't throw fits as often as he used to. They say he has SPD (sensory processing disorder) but he hasn't been diagnosed with anything and he is highly tactically defensive, meaning he doesn't really like anyone touching him or helping him do anything. But since starting with OT he's slowly starting to allow us to hold his hand and will even grab my hand and take me to things when he wants / needs something. Slow progress but we will get there. He still doesn't say much! Only dad, mom, night night, tickle tickle, ABC, shoe, and a few other words here and there, we are looking to put him back into speech therapy now that he's allowing interaction. Oh and we just hopped back on the potty training band wagon, since we failed the last time we tried. It's just difficult since he doesn't talk or sign so he can't tell me when he needs to potty. Hopefully we can get some sort of sign down and we are able to get this done soon! As of today (1/30/15) Liam is exactly 2 1/2 years old!
