The street of the diner I work at is being used for exterior shots for an episode of SVU which is pretty dope, but it took me a ridiculous amount of time just to get into the kitchen this morning.  And, I didn’t even get to holler at Mariska Hargitay??

Also just a pro-tip: there’s a limit to the amount of times you can say Dick Wolf before your coworkers get pissed at you.  That limit was at about seven for me.

One of my fellow teachers asked if I could take care of their class pet (that just became their personal summer pet) while they’re gone for the week of the 4th. Of course I said yes because I thought it would be another bunny to keep Bunnicula company for the week, or maybe like a cool frog or something.  Nope, I’m watching two crawfish for the week.  I don’t think they like each other either because they keep fighting, and now I have a specific fork I’m apparently using to break up crawfish fights.  I feel like an overworked boxing ref at this point, and I don’t even have a cool bow tie to show for it.

I’ve been sitting on this news for a full 24 hours before bragging about it online because humility is important or whatever, but your girl has scored a paid position at A24 come the fall!  Well, it’s a paid internship since I’ll still be in school, but it’s with the publicity department rather than social media.  Which means their twitter and Instagram feeds will be lacking my usual flair, but it’s infinitely more hands on when learning the ins and outs of the industry.  Oh, and did I mention getting paid for doing something I love and might be good at?

Also, he’s definitely your dog too, no kind of about it. He just lives with me! But we pretty much adopted him together, which is hella gay but also hella cute.

TINA: I just Love a good mocumentary! And also Jim and Pam get me weak 😩 but I’ve never been to Pennsylvania! I’m actually in Frisco this weekend for a family reunion. Before now it had been a couple years, but it’s good to be back. We need to explore all of California together someday, because I need the REAL a Scout Approved tour of SoCal!

REG: That’s just based off my own assessments from talking with my regulars. They’re mostly people 35 and older, its pretty wild. I cant imagine what it’s like in places like California.

TINA: California has always been ten steps ahead. I actually grew up in San Francisco and it's always been chill, so I can only imagine how it is now. The East Coast has it's charms, mainly a coffee shop full of pretty ladies, but the west is far more progressive.

I second this motion! Mainly for the finger sandwiches, but the organizational aspect is also a bonus. Sam, no! Foot Longs are a more extreme finger sandwich. They could prove to be even more addictive. That sounds like a bad idea, so you lose this one. The proper answer is pizza. I don’t know why, it just is.
